Probably has two jobs. The bad news is it kills your entire day, the good news is you never have time to actually spend any money.
The worse news is you never really have time to play any games. When i personally work 11-12 hour days I find myself too fried to be able to handle video games. Those become TV nights because it's a completely passive activity.
For Sleeping Dogs DLC, both Nightmare in North Point (125G) and Year of the Snake (100G) have achievements tied to them. I haven't played either, so I can't speak to the quality of their content.
Year Of The Snake is the biggest one. Its very funny (the intro especially), and quite good. Nightmare In North Point is a fun, but pretty quick. The Zodiac Tournament is great, but short and no achievements, also not on sale.
It's a damn fantastic game. One of my favorites of this whole generation.
Having loved the game I'd recommend it all, but maybe play it a bit first before makin a decision on DLC if you're on the fence. It was just a world I enjoyed so much that I wanted more when I was done, and the DLC scratched that itch.
Spelunky would be instant buy if not for the inclusion of a forced time mechanic with the Grim Reaper showing up. Seriously why? Haven't played but does this bother any of you?
Its pretty essential to what makes it an outstanding game, so no it doesn't bother me. A huge part of the game is making risk vs reward decisions. Allowing you to take as much time as you want would undercut that in a major way.
Call of Juarez: Gunslinger is well worth it at that price IMHO. It's actually a well told story, using it's video-game setting to excellent degree for story telling. I bought it at half price and really enjoyed it.
Thinking about a few things myself, but unsure If I'll pull the trigger. Might just wait until the last minute to decide.
Can anyone recommend BattleBlock Theater to someone who doesn't really play multiplayer? Would I enjoy it as a purely solo experience if I'm a fan of 2D platformers?
I would definitely endorse it. I bought it last time it was on sale, have really only played solo, and was really surprised at how much I enjoyed it. Must have put in 10 hours the first weekend I had it.
Hi guys, I would just like to know if any kind soul can recommend the best DLC for Sleeping Dogs? There are so many that I am rather overwhelmed.
This has been answered. Please see my title for further info.
Well, I read the OP and given the information is useful, I was just asking for general opinion on what the best DLC it is to buy.
Nightmare in North Point and Year Of The Snake are probably the best two. The Zodiak Tournament is great for style and stuff, but is comparatively short (FWIW it also has no achievements). I really liked all 3 though.
