Walmart to get into used game market

18 March 2014 - 05:43 PM

Was looking around to see if anyone posted this yet. If it has been, feel free to delete this post.

I ran across this a few mins ago.

In a news article from a local news station here, it was mentioned that they plan on accepting even as far back as PS1 games. Didn't see anything about that in those two articles, but might be interesting if they do. They also say that its trade ins are store credit only. At least there is a way around that by just using the credit to buy a prepaid Visa or what not. I have mixed thoughts on it. It may be a decent way to get money for some games when the program rolls out. What's everyone else's thoughts? Of course other than another retailer raping us gamers

Has anyone ever sold games to DKOldies.com?

I have a whole slew on games and looking to sell to them yet all I can find are reviews about purchases.  Just from their "sell your games" page and the titles I have on that list alone amount to about $350.  I have plenty others that I plan on emailing them about what I could get for them.  They're the only site I've come across that pay cash out like that for just loose carts.  Every place else, I wouldn't get jack if anything at all because I don't have the boxes and manuals.

Job application help: former employers locations no longer exist

26 May 2013 - 07:11 AM

The last two companies I worked for, OfficeMax and 7-11, the locations I worked at no longer exist. Anyone have any iea how and what to put down on a job application in instances like that? Best I can think of is to put down that locations address but provide a number to corporate. I know where the regional office is for 7-11 for my area and thought about putting that down. OfficeMax on the other hand, I don't know what to put. And I doubt that an 800 number would look good
