I'm sure whatever deity you believe in will understand.
If Jesus were alive today, he'd be totally okay with missing church for some PS4 gaming. However, he'd advise you to wait till next year where they'll be more games available and all the launch titles out now will be below $20.
Still wondering why I jumped on the PS4... Too many good games still to play on PS3!!! Ugh
You got tempted by the shiny and new, happens to all of us. Just look at it as a learning lesson for future purchases. I'm waiting till next Black Friday to buy a PS4. Gamefly will probably have all of the launch titles on sale for $10-$15.
Eh, you didn't miss much. The exclusive event they held last night only had items I wasn't interested in such as tablets, macbook pros, etc. I just learned I'll be away from the internet and retail stores for all of Thanksgiving weekend so this early Black Friday deal from Best Buy is the only way I'll be participating this year.
I got this e-mail and I'm Elite Plus. It says "Beat the crowds, exclusive early access. As one of our best customers, you're invited to shop Black Friday deals online 4 days before anyone else. Make sure you're ready to access the deals." Followed by a link that prompts me to sign in.
This really shouldn't be a separate topic though since we already have a Black Friday mega thread stickied.
Only thing I can see that dropped in price is Grand Theft Auto IV (360, PS3) for $9.99 with free shipping. Personally, I think seeking out the Complete Edition is a better value since you can find it for not much more than Gamefly's price for just the base game.
It's not. There's two extremes to CAG I've noticed. On the one hand, there's threads detailing Mega Ultra Limited Collector's Editions that retail for $180 and on the other hand there's Gamefly sales which can have recently released games for $10 and under. I've read the position that some people state that $180 for a sealed Collector's edition is actually a deal since it'll be the cheapest that edition ever will be. That's great for them, but my small apartment is limited on room as it is now and I'd only be able to afford 2 games a year at that price.
This is neither. It's just a standard MSRP game that got released 3 weeks early that can't even be played yet. I wish moderators would set clearer standards on what constitutes a deal but the traffic and affiliate money that these kind of threads bring in probably outweigh the negatives in their eyes.
