Thanks! Jumped on this deal. For those looking for a filler, check out the Ninja Gaiden 3 guide. The listing is a little funky, but it's $0.01 and free shipping!

Thanks for this. I have no coupon for GoWA, but  I do love me some penny guides. Seeing all the penny guides on the site not available for shipping (mainly KH DDD) brings a pain to my heart, but I'll take what I can get.

I'm assuming you're reffering to making it a habit to use Best Buy's credit card more regularly?  If not, please elaborate; I'd rather not have to spend $3,500 there either...

That is one option, but not the one most people here use.

all best buy programs are off balanced like that. for example elite only has to spend $1,500 a year I think and elite plus is $3,500 and they both have the same exact benefits only different is elite get 30 days return period and elite plus get 45 days so basically spend a extra $2,000 to get a extra 15 days return period there balancing of perks for different levels are way off.

Not accurate.

Elite+ get free Expedited shipping and they get 25% bonus in points. Plus there are other benefits that happen from time to time. Like private shopping events and others. Is it worth $2000 more...yes and no.

It is very easy to get to $3500 spent at BBY if you know how to shop smart there, a few CAGs (Enuf for one) knows what I mean. I would never spend $1500 or $3500 at BBY just to get the benefits, but it is a nice bonus on top of the other stuff they offer you.

EDIT: Plus that is not a fair comparison. Elite and Elite+ are both "free". Yes they have a cost attached to them, but it's a "bonus" on top of the money you already are spending elsewhere. The fact that they match every other major retailer, give you rewards back on what you buy, offer faster returns then online retailers, and have deals for gamers make them one of the best places to shop on a constant basis.

Plus you are comparing two tiers of a free program with a free and paid tier of a sub-program. Not exactly on the same level there.

To make GCU more appealing and stuff like this less of a "slap in the face"...I think they should do $10 for GC and $20 for GCU + 20%.

You want to just get $10 back without any added cost, that's fine, we have a free membership (which is basically what they are saying now). But if you want to get select games at 50% off on release, then we have a program for you. It basically means you only need to get like 6 games within 2 years to break even ($20 more per game). This would IMO be a great option that maybe BBY has already looked into, but offering free members 66% of what paid members get is kinda silly if you ask me.

It's hard to say no to a PS4 game at launch for $30, less if that figure/Doom Beta code is worth something on the secondary market. Just pre-ordered online for store pickup.
