EA and Cheap Ass Gamer have teamed up to bring you the Exotic Racing Series Scavenger Hunt. Ten individuals will win Need For Speed SHIFT’s Exotic Locations DLC for the PS3 and one very lucky person will receive a PlayStation 3 console with a copy of Need For Speed SHIFT. All you have to do to enter is find two puzzle pieces: one hidden somewhere on CAG and one on the Official Need For Speed Blog. It’s a bit of race though, as you only have until the end of today to find the two puzzle pieces necessary to put you in the running for these great prizes. Follow us on Twitter at @CheapyD, @Wombat5277, @Shipwreck, and @VideoGameDeals for hints on finding the piece on CAG. See below for full details.

How to Enter:

  • Locate the hidden jigsaw piece on CAG AND the Official NFS Blog and either take clear screenshots or copy direct image URLs and email them to ron@needforspeed.com by 11:59 PST on Thursday 3/25/2010.
  • Within the email, entrant must include first and last name.
  • One entry per person
  • Only available to North American residents
  • The other piece of the puzzle and rules/legal can be found at the Official Need For Speed Blog: http://needforspeed....<wbr>speed-news and check www.twitter.com/needforspeed for updates!

Prizes - 11 random entrants on Thursday will receive:
  • 1 x PS3 console and a copy of Need For Speed SHIFT
  • 10 x PS3 Exotic Locations DLC Codes

Winners to be announced Friday 3/26/2010.

Nice one!
This probably goes without saying, but your chances of winning go down significantly if you think it's a good idea to post the locations of the puzzle pieces in the comments.
drop some hints
Awesome! I'm totally going to win. :p
Hint about to be dropped, on twitter
gotta love CAG
sweet

@Wombat - whats up with the old man wombat pic on your twitter lol?
lol, I was just listening to the latest CAGcast in math and you guys referred to this. Thanks so much for it being all of North America. Usually Canadians get shafted by this stuff.
Any idea when they are going to post today's piece on the NFS website?
I found the CAG piece in about 30 seconds, but I've been looking for the NFS one for 20 minutes, and I can't find it...

Edit: I think I figured out my problem. The Need for Speed Blog wasn't loading correctly in Firefox, I opened it in IE and I can read the blog now.
EDIT: Nevermind

I also have a question. Will the one on CAG be the same size as the one on the official NFS blog?
niice!
north america only,eh? bah!
Are the pieces not supposed to match?
I suck at these things, I know where to look, but I'm finding nothing. I'm better with riddles. :)
Wow, super easy. I found both pieces in under 15 seconds.
God I suck...I cant find a thing...even with the clues...
i click the link to the NFS blog and it says "You do not have the roles required to access this portlet." wtf?
Is the one on the NFS Blog actually hidden in the site? Cause they kinda blatantly give it to you and I"m not sure if that's the actual piece.
