Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Impressions

Anyway, on to the impressions...

Single Player:
The single player I think is pretty good, when playing it on Veteran. I finished Act I on Recruit and to me it was a bit tedious and I just wanted to get through the level. On Veteran though, all those same levels felt way better and I got a better feeling playing through them.

For those looking to buy MW2 for the Single Player experience (who does that?) then I would recommend that you just rent it. I finished Act I on Veteran in a bit under 2 hours or so. There are only three Acts.

For those who play on Veteran, I think that it's not that hard so far. Veteran seems to be doable and like I said, I progressed rather quickly through Act I and am currently in Act II already.

The graphics are great, superb even. The Snow level looks nice and crisp and so is do the other levels I have played so far. I also like the variety they are trying to include. You go from a mission in the Snow to a big gunfight in a Favela and all the environments looks good and keep me interested.

Multi-Player:
Multiplayer is even better then the first MW. There are new perks and unlockables to get. You unlock Accolades, Titles, Emblems, and even Kill Streak rewards. (25 kills, blow up the map!)

The experience is very smooth and runs great. As well all know, the first MW is very fast paced and this is no exception. There are large maps as well as smaller ones and all of them are VERY fun to play in. I have yet to play in a map that I didn't really enjoy.

I would keep writing but like I said, it's like the first Modern Warfare multiplayer but only way better and improved.

Any other questions feel free to post them here and I'll do my best to answer them.:)

What is the first mission of the game? My cousin has a friend who did QA for Acti and he said its the controversial "Terrorist in an Airport" mission that is supposed to be skippable. True?
Well at first you have your usual "circuit run" where they recommend to you what difficulty to play.

After that there is another small mission and then the Terrorist mission. Depending on whether you consider the "circuit run" a mission, it's either the 2nd or 3rd mission.

This mission does not affect any achievements/trophies as well.
You say that playing on Veteran isn't hard, but that doesn't say much to me.

How is it relative to the first one in terms of difficulty?
I thought the first one was pretty tough and enjoyed playing on Hard better.
It's a shame they butchered the PC release, was really looking forward to this game
Thanks for the info JIGSAWjr. I can happily tell my cousin he's full of shit, just like I thought he was.
@ Wingwright:

Compared to the first MW this seems to be a bit easier, at least what I have played so far. Again, it might be easier because it's shorter as well.

Compared to Call of Duty 2 this is really easy.
Uncharted 2 will beat it for GOTY, so...::chrismatthews HA!::
@ IRHari...that spot is reserved for Dragon Age!
Just a question for ya Jigsaw..

How does the overall experience of MW1 compare to this? Is the experience vastly different? I'm still a little iffy on whether I should pick this up or not.
@ Ichigo1993:

I would say that the experience is a bit different but in a good way. Modern Warfare 2 has many more environments then the first and they work for the game. You have more of a variety when playing the singleplayer not only in the environments, but in the weapons as well.

I would recommend you pick it up.
The MP is the same just more fine tuned.
