Good Experience with XBOX live support
I had my XBOX gold membership on auto-renew and it just triggered this month. I realized that it was full price coming off of my credit card but I could swear that I had that 40% off auto-renew promotion.
So I decided to do a live chat with a support representative who was very nice. She added a bit of friendly banter in when she was waiting for the system to refresh, etc. We ended up finding out that the 40% was for last years subscription and that I had already used it. So basically, I was mistaken and had no right to complain or anything like that. But just jokingly I asked her if she could apply a similar promo for the year I just paid for, just for being such a loyal customer.
She came back and said "Yes, I can do that for such loyal customer. Your credit card should get the difference refunded in the next day or so."
Crazy! I guess I caught someone on a good day. I just thought I would share my little story of how Microsoft (well, maybe not M$ but a rep) did something nice for me.
