200STM Cart Pusher.

Posted by 200STM, 06 November 2011 · 229 views

Hey there CAGs its been a while since my last blog appearance. I am now well a Cart Pusher at a place. I have been working since September. I am finally employed in these dark times of the economy.

I have been working very much 75% of my time and I am okay with it so far. I basically collect carts literally for 6-8 hours a day with one hour lunch and two 15 minute breaks on occasion I do carry outs (help take items to cars).

I have been feeling positive for having a job though at times it can be rather difficult like sundays and first of the months where it is very busy keeping up with filling garages full of carts and such but its a good gig and I am good at it.

I don't want to go too much detail on it since a cart pusher is what it is, and the minimum wage is what it is (hey its a job and I am proud of what I do).

Well I also got a Flame Red 3DS as well as a little gift to myself and I am enjoying it so far.

I am just putting this blog up to let you CAGs know 200STM is doing well and I am one proud Cart Pusher. I am saving up for a car and will be going back to school with online college courses come January. If you stuck with no job hang in there because as some of you know it took me 3 years but I am now employed and I am proud and happy for it too :) To Cheap Ass Gamer for showing me where to get good games cheap on my 8.00 an hour job! To CAGs for being my internet family! To all Cart Pushers out there! We wear gold vest as we are the best!

Good for you man, a job is a job. I was cart pusher when I was a teenager and I loved it. I would listen to my walkman and just go into a world of my own. Everyone should be proud of their job no matter what it is, and if you take pride in what you do, you're sure to a damn good job,
I used to work at a grocery store, and for a period of about a year, cart pushing was part of my job. Bottle returns, cart pushing, mopping the store, and on one horrible night, cleaning up vomit after a homeless guy drank too much Listerine

Congrats on landing it! It's not a glamorous job, but it pays the bills. Also: be glad you live in California -- pushing carts through an unplowed parking lot in a New York winter is a hell I never want to relive :D
I'm with PR Mega on this one.

I used to have to push cards in Erie PA - home of the lake effect show, at a Sam's Club.

pushing carts in the dead of winter with multiple feet of snow in the parking lot (that just came down within the last hour or so).
Ugh - No fancy dancy cart pushing controllers and a machine doing all the work like I see at Wally World lately - Just myself, my boots and my gloves - oh and my fat ass pushing.
Sometimes I was lucky if I could get 2 at a time haha.

However, To all those that work Retail - I salute you.
I have been in Big Box retail for over a decade now and I really do like it.
We are the workers who make it so that everyone else can live the life they want. We do not get enough credit for what we do and we get shit on too much - but it pays the bills and I love my job (most of the time)
