My XBLA Backlog

Posted by tylerh1701, in Xbox 360 10 April 2014 · 853 views

After a few months of focus, I'm getting down to the final stretches of my XBLA backlog. Just counted up, and I have 33 games left to play. My goal is to be done with the backlog by the end of May, but it may end up stretching into June a little bit. One nice thing is that a lot of these games are rather short and I can get through an entire game in a single night.

So here's what's left on my plate, with a little bit of commentary on some of them. Please feel free to weigh in if you have any comments about games I should definitely play or definitely skip. Some of them are pretty obscure.

Bangai-O HD
Boulder Dash-XL
Catan
Crazy Machine Elements
Darwinia+
Duke Nukem 3D
Fire Pro Wrestling
Flashback
Fusion: Genesis (will probably skip)
Ghostbusters: Sanctum of Slime
Happy Tree Friends
Injustice: Gods Among Us
Kill Team (Warhammer 40K)
Lode Runnerâ„¢
Mars War Logs (might skip)
MLB Bobblehead Pros
MOON DIVER
Panzer General
Pid
Puzzle Quest (played a ton on PC, not sure if I want to replay)
Puzzle Quest 2
Serious Sam: Double D XXL
Skulls of the Shogun
Sonic & Knuckles
South Park: Tenorman
Storm
The UnderGarden
Trials Evolution
Unbound Saga (may skip)
Worms
Worms 2
WRC Powerslide
Zombie Driver HD

Great point.

Last month my sister made $3000 without ever leaving the house.  when she told me I couldn't believe it so I gave it a shot and now I am doing the same thing. Who ever would have thought making money was this easy.

Yes.  I was bored at work.

Play that Ghostbusters game - within 5 minutes you'll know if you have the nuts to finish it or not.  It's not bad per se, but the first level definitely gives insight to the type of game it is.  Liking the license probably helps it immensely.

You almost certainly won't like Injustice if you're not fighting game savvy - there's nothing casually fun about it outside of just trying it out.  The dearth of content is really built around not sucking at games like that, so for the casual fan there's just the story mode (which is ok, but the fights are lame) and dinking around online / against a friend.  It's pretty though.

I think everybody likes Skulls of the Shogun.  That's all.

I've played a couple levels of Ghostbusters and it is really blah.  But I do like twin-sticks so I may check it out right when I get to the end of the list.

Injustice I'll probably only monkey around with for a few minutes.  I don't like fighting games much at all.  It was one of those free games that got me banned, otherwise I never would have bought it.

Skulls looks sweet, probably the best game left in my digital backlog.
