Picking Back Up

unity 3d development mystery

I had been thinking of starting a CAG blog to ruminate on game development-related topics. But when I went to check on the possibility, I realized that I already had. More than three years ago! I'm definitely getting old. Time flies a lot faster than it used to.

I blame my personal circumstances. A lot has been happening with my family in the past few years. Nothing bad, but things that have definitely kept me very occupied, so that I haven't had as much free time as I used to. Things are starting to settle down again, and I'm expecting to be able to devote some more time to my hobby of game development.

I haven't been idle in the intervening time, either. The tool I was in the process of constructing to help enable the murder-mystery concept I was working on is finished. I still need to create some documentation and tutorials before posting it to the Unity Asset Store, but it is fully functional and ready for a live development environment. I was also able to revise a lip-sync animation tool that I had been working on. (which also needs some documentation before I post the updates for it)

I will likely be posting some entries here on CAG just for the fun of it. (and to share my game-dev experiences)

Sounds like you are working on something neat, let us know how it goes!
