That Time is Coming...

Gaming Fall Releases Xbox Playstation Nintendo Black Friday
Well it's that time of the year fellow gamer's. That time where our wallets scream in agony. That time where our significant other despises, even if they to are a gamer or supports our hobby/passion. That time where the new releases are abundant and the deals are everywhere. That time where every hipster or girl has a Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte(me to cause those are damn tasty!)

As I look into the forecast of games releasing through Christmas, there is a ton of day one buys and that doesn't count the backlog I'll build off of all the Black Friday sales. It all starts this Friday. This Friday I'll be diving head first into the line up of games that will consume a good portion of the little bit of free time I do have right now. It all starts with Gears of War Ultimate Edition. I know it has already released but I'll be buying that and playing the hell out of it until Metal Gear Solid 5 releases and finds a permanent home in my PS4 until the Uncharted Colleciton releases.

This is one of the best holiday lineups in recent memory for me and I cannot wait to start playing through all these games. I know there will be a lot of you out there just as excited as I am. Let's all cheers to what should be an amazing time to be a gamer!

My wife, pretty much, despises my love for collecting. We're coming up on a year as a married couple and she's just starting to realize how many games I purchase on a regular basis. Now, it's not breaking the bank bad, but bad in the eyes of someone who isn't a gamer. I can usually fight off the Black Friday urges. JRPG Limited/Collector's Editions are my weaknesses. Not to forget import games that get the English version release in China, but not the West...that gets expensive, quickly.

This is my (least) favorite time of the year. Why's that? New games, college, and the changing weather.

Even though I love all the new games, I don't have the money or time to play them all. Speaking of time, college uses up a lot of my time, but I look forward to it because it means I'm a little bit closer to being done (I've been in college sooooo long). As for the changing weather? I look forward to the cooler temps because this +90 degree weather and humidity sucks; my allergies are kinda bad this time of the year though.

Okay, I guess I can live with the downsides. Here's to fall/winter! My favorite seasons! *drinks a pumpkin spice latte*

I feel like, last year, my wallet got a reprieve.  Stuff I was into go pushed back.  Now its all starting to catch up and I can't wait.

I'm in the same boat as far as time goes. This time of year I don't have a ton of free time due to my work schedule as well as pop warner football has started back up now so I work 12 hours a day then coach football 3 hours a night. By time I get home, eat and shower I'm ready for bed haha. Also, I'm in Southwest Florida so I know the 90+ degree weather and humidity pretty well. This time of year can't come soon enough though. The weather gets a little cooler, the rain slows down and humidity slowly goes away.

I'm a sucker for collector's editions as well. My wife luckily doesn't mind my game buying/collecting as long as I don't give her a hard time about her purchases. We always talk about it though so she knows what time of year is coming haha. Black Friday for me is always a priority stop to Victoria's Secret for her(and me to right?!) and then it's off to Gamestop/Walmart or wherever a good deal is.

Congrats on the almost one year of marriage to! My wife and I got married October 25th last year.

Now that you mention it, last year was a little slower on the deals. I think I only bought a game or two. This holiday season is insane though!
