I need help :(

Posted by kazo, 01 June 2010 · 185 views

I am going to a rough patch in my life at the moment and if I don't move i'll be pretty much homeless.. I've sold a ton of my things and I've only made $2,550 out of $3,000 that I need to move into my house. Needless to say if I don't get the $450 then I am fucked. And what sucks is I don't start my job til' the beginning of July and I have to move next week Friday.

If anyone could help, I'm accepting donations at my pay pal account: deviljin2@hotmail.com.

As much as it hurt my pride to do this, it's pretty much my last resort.

-Jesse

P.S. - The reason why I needed so much was for my deposit, and 2 months rent with my roommate so I could stay afloat for a while :/ Sorry all for resorting to this.

hows your credit? go see if you can take out a $1000 loan. or get a credit card.
Hate to say it guy, but asking for donations on the web probably isn't going to yield the best results. Do you have family you could borrow the money from? Other than that I'm not sure a bank will give you an unsecured loan with no job. You'd probably have to go back when you have a job. I know my old apartment let me pay my rent on a credit card (I did it for the points) but that could always be an option as well.
@hohez - My credit is terrible thanks to my dad and sister but I shouldn't point fingers since I am not one to not help family and I was denied on getting a credit card twice :/

@DV8 - You are right but I am actually desperate for help. I tried my family (all of them including cousins I haven't seen in forever) but I got the no money reason so nothing I could do there. I tried the bank earlier before I put this here but can't do anything without the job..

Doesn't hurt for me to try but I'm running out of time :(
This site might help: http://www.wishuponahero.com/
I'm sorry to tell you this, but you may have picked the wrong site to ask for help from. We already have a charity case.

I hope everything works out for you.
@Jerajdai - Thank you for that and I gave it a shot. Pray for me..

@RchrdJ - Never hurts to try man.. I have no where else to resort to so I do what I can but thanks for the wishes though.
You actually aren't that far from me (I've been to Rockville a few times), but quite honestly, I can't help you out here. This is something you have to figure out yourself. Kind of surprised you'd be living in Montgomery County because it's definitely expensive to live there (not trying to be rude, but I'm familiar with their taxes being higher and stuff).

If you need money, you have to try getting a loan or see someone about debt. There still has to be stuff you can sell to at least make money back.

Who knows, maybe I'll consider if you can help me find a girl. ;)
Donate plasma.
donating plasma is actually a good option to get a little. Won't get all that you need but you could get part of it.
@The Mana Knight - I'm actually from Michigan but I am staying with a friend of my gf at the moment (believe me I found out the hard way how expensive it is since we stay by the metro) :/ I mean I am doing what I can but its not enough. I sold all my consoles to my brother earlier and he gave me the money and told me to keep them.

And dude, if you were in Michigan I'd hook you up easily lol.
@hohez @Anexanhume - That's a great idea, hopefully they take me since I have a skin disease :/
Have you thought about not getting an apartment where your rent and deposit for 2 months is 3 grand? You know in 6 months if your job is stable you could always move on up then.
This will sound really bad but if it is only one month you could just rough it in a car if you have one I knew a guy that i use to work with that lived in his car for two weeks while the dorms opened up.
If your brother let you keep the consoles (and you haven't already sold them), sell them again. I've been there (sold all my consoles in college) to make ends meet. Turned out ok for me in the end.
@Kazo, I use to live in a state that bordered MI. ;)
@hohez - The apartment itself is actually cheap where I pay only $900 a month with utilities included. The place itself in this area is pretty good for the price and its right next door to the job.

@paintball745 - I wish I had a car, I would seriously do this.

@Anexanhume - He told me to keep 'em but he is borrowing them at the moment :/ makes no sense otherwise they would have been gone to craigslist already.

Thank you all for trying to help, if I could help you in some way I would.
Your roommate doesn't have any extra cash? It also seems odd that you state you need so much for deposit and 2 months rent for the reason you gave us 'to stay afloat for awhile' Whats the problem with having only deposit and 1 1/2 months rent if you only needed two months rent so you could stay afloat for awhile? I mean you said you start working in july this is june next month is july so wouldn't you get paid in july to get the other half's month rent you need?
@blissskr, when I moved into my place, I had to pay application fee and amenities fees before I moved in, which was somewhere around $250-$400. The first day I moved in, I had to pay security deposit and part of the first month's rent (another $500 and something). In no time, I had to pay for the next month's full rent. Sucks because my paycheck would not come until late my 2nd week of work. However, I got my parents to help me out, then I paid them back right away.
@blissskr - Mana Knight hit the nail on the head. I need $3,000 I have $2,550. $900 deposit, $900 June, $900 July, $50 Application Fee, and the $250 to loan to friend since he was short on the $2700 he owes.

I hate money so much but I need it :(
