Pros:
- Everything in-game is in English with four other subtitle options: French, German, Italian, and Spanish
- Lots of techniques to unlock
- Features a shooting mini-game after every chapter where you can earn points to buy items or exchange for Halos (currency)
- Intriguing characters, intriguing story - fighting the good guys, AKA people from Heaven is a new take on things... Angel May Cry!
- Nice visuals, some great character models
- Lots of hidden stuff in between stages, including extra stages/challenges
Cons:
- Minor screen tearing
- Frame rate is all over the place at times (especially the falling clock tower sequence), but for the most part it's buttery smooth... just not at 60 fps.
- Textures aren't up to snuff compared to the 360 version, but there are some good looking spots.
Overall, I am very impressed. The gameplay is fast-paced and really enjoyable, it's very rare for action games of this caliber to come out, so I applaud PlatinumGames and Sega for their efforts. If you've got a PS3 only, get it since it's perfectly playable. If you've got access to both PS3 and 360, then get it on 360 for the full potential of the game.
