What are you playing this weekend?

Friday :D

When I used to work a 2nd part time job at Gamestop one of the reasons I left was all the extra money I made was mostly spent on buying Video Games I'd see and never play. Like if someone traded in a rare PS2 rpg, welp that was mine at the end of my shift. So I thought with Toys R Us as a seasonal job, I wouldn't have this issue, I never calculated that TRU does something Gamestop rarely does, put stuff on sale. So let's take today for instance, I like the Batman Arkham games. They are a blast, do I need them day 1? Nah. So I see TRU has a coupon for a 20 dollar giftcard with Batman Arkham Origins. I will stay strong but given the record of TRU sales, and the fact the old Kmart VideoGame guy is now working for TRU on creating deals, I see a lot of temptation in the future.

Game wise, I will be resubbing to FF14: ARR this week. My buddies have hit end game and want me to run some content with them. So I'll be giving that a go, outside of that continuing on my quest in Ni No Kuni. I would like the game so much more without Monster Breeding. I hate Monster Breeding. Because I hate monster breeding so much I looked up a guide online that tells me which monsters I can get earlyish on that will be just fine for seeing the game through. I love the world, the story, the art style, the characters. I just hate monster breeding, so I am going to do my best to see the game to its conclusion without letting monster breeding ruin it for me.

What are you playing this weekend?

My wife and I are celebrating our anniversary this weekend (18 years.  Oh man, I am so old) so depending on what we do, gaming may get put on the back burner.  No big deal, I might as well just cut and paste my reply to the last few weeks blogs.  Still just GTA V.  I know I'm playing at a glacial pace, but this game is frakking huge; I don't know how some people finished it within a week or so of it coming out.

We got kids my man, deff hits the gaming lifestyle in the played time area ;) I will be lucky to finish Ni No Kuni this year

PKMN Y and FFXIV

Hopefully finish up Hotline Miami and go back for some trophy hunting.  Game is fun but can be frustrating at times.

I thought about subbing to FFXIV, but then I realized that end game is terrible so I'll stick to mostly WoW and Pokemon X/Y this weekend.

This week's gone by too fast @_@

Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney: Dual Destinies will be my main focus this weekend. Other than that, there's Pokemon Black 2 and Return to Castle Wolfenstein.

This is the weekend I've waited two months for! To finally play Batman: Arkham Origins!

I'm also trying to finish up Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions and I might play some Resident Evil 4 HD and, if time allows, The Walking Dead: 400 Days, also. I would like to get in some horror games before Halloween.

This week is zombie week.  House of the Dead:Overkill and Undead Redemption for me.   Ill also grind a bit in Final Fantasy 7 and knock off a few more missions in Grand Theft Auto 4

playing gta v online, and Batman: Arkham Origins!

Batman weekend for me!  Origins before everyone gets up in the morning, Blackgate after everyone's asleep.  Still need to finish up a few things in AC3 (at I think 78% complete?) and Dragon's Crown (hit level 90) but I won't be able to resist Batman.

I'm still playing Paper Mario Sticker Star. If I finish it, I might play Tales of the Abyss 3DS or Ni No Kuni.

dead space, because I need to play a scary game and Silent Hill HD was not doing the job in terms of pacing

Metro 2033 (PC) I had problems with the library (chapter 5) for a while and finally in Chapter 6 almost finished this game. I might play 400 Days for The Walking Dead (PC) and/or look into The Wolf Among Us (PC). I think I might need to go look into my backlog of console games now.

I finally moved on to another job which will help me do get better salary long term in technology. Also might just hangout this weekend and a little errands.

:ps3: EyePet & Friends - my 3.5 yo son is still requesting this game; he will jump around and interact with the EyePet while laughing and giggling; I think he mostly likes seeing himself on TV; the only trophies I have left are for the wardrobe; I am tired of this game

:psp: Corpse Party
