What are you playing this weekend?

Friday :D

First off in my absence I want to shout out R.Kashara and Danimal for filling in :D I hope the new cat is doing well and Danimal sorry to hear about that garage door opener. As someone who recently had his go out as well I join you in the struggle of home ownership.

Rare Weekend. Off from both jobs what shall I do? PLAY GAMES of course. I am FINALLY playing The Last of Us and boy have I missed out on this little gem. Plan on sucking a lot of time into it this weekend and chugging along in Destiny. Level 24 on PS4 and Level 19 on Xbone. Shadows of Mordor dropping next week is temptation but I dunno, wait for cheap prices or jump in day 1?

Next week my life is getting hectic more so than usual. As you all know I work 2 jobs 1 is accounts receivables and the other is toys r us toy guru. Well as you may have guessed toy guru doesn't exactly come with the type of pay needed to support ones wife through nursing classes. So I have been accepted to a dealer school for Blackjack training for a casino local to me. So for the next 6 weeks starting next week my schedule is going to look like this

Mon- 8-5 AR Job 530-930 TRU
Tue - Fri 8-5 AR Job 7p-11p Dealer School
Sat - 8-2 AR Job 3-10:30 TRU
Sun - 2-830 TRU

I don't know how I am going to do this, I basically won't see my family for 6 weeks. I know the outcome from this will be a much higher paying part time job(hell it pays more than my main job) so knowing I will be able to support them is what keeps me going. Heres to 6 weeks of crazyiness incoming!

What are you playing this weekend?

Congratulations on being accepted to a dealer school for Blackjack training! That would be a pretty neat gig!

Last weekend I beat Killzone 2. It was alright. Not really a first-person shooter fan and I found the multiplayer to be terrible. However, I'm starting Killzone 3 this week (I bought them both dirt cheap, so I figured, why not?). So far, I tried out the multiplayer for KZ3 and it's a major improvement over the previous installment. I'm really enjoying it, so far. It's night and day compared to the Uncharted 3 multiplayer, which has to have one of the worst online hitbox/bullet sink mechanics in all of gaming. It takes twenty shots to bring someone down, whereas the Killzone 3 multiplayer handles beautifully -- I don't need to unload a full clip to take someone on the other team out.

I agree with SolidSnake. The job is definitely for people to learn the trade. I heard they definitely make money. It would be good to make more especially since you have your two boys :) So, hopefully you can balance your time way to know this will improve things for them.

In gaming, I am looking to finish Pupeeteer. It is a interesting game (definitely on the weird side; it was made by JapanStudio). I am looking towards playing this weekend (at least begin) Skyrim (years later) and maybe to maybe play another game not sure right now. I am also hanging out with a friend tonight and errands tomorrow so nothing big.

Im playing Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate on the 3DS.  I cannot wait until I get the Wii U for Christmas and can play online.  Ive actually commandeered my 8 yr old's 3ds specifically for Monster Hunter.  When I get my Monster Hunter fix I swap my Vita and let him play it so he is ok.  Im also going to grind on my NG+ for Persona 3 FES.

Damn, that's a crazy schedule @_@ Good luck with it! Our new cat has adjusted well, btw, though we have to figure out how to get both our cats to stop eating each other's food…

As for what I'm playing, I've been chipping away at Persona 4 Arena's story mode. At this point, I've done all the P4 characters and am planning on moving on to Aigis next. Considering going through arcade mode as well; we'll see. Don't know what else I'll be playing, if anything.

The easiest solution we found was to put one in a bathroom and shut the door during feeding time. We got the both on the same food after about 2 months.

This weekend I am playing Walking Dead PS3, Futurama PS2, and some Pokemon game.

We're having to do something similar now (mainly because the new one's on a dietary supplement for a little while), but it's a bit awkward. Hopefully they'll learn eventually *shrug*
Congrats on starting the new gig. You might be Hella busy for a while but it will have great end results. I will be playing destiny on ps4, minecraft, and murasaki Baby on the vita.

Destiny for me. Just about to hit level 20, and want to get some engrams before school and work destroy my life next week.

More Destiny for me. I've been playing with my buddy from work on the PS4. I'm level 16 now and still haven't gotten far in the story. I'm mostly just doing bounties and portals. I don't know if I will play anything else. I'm thinking about going back to finish Rainbow Moon or start Tales of Symphonia.

Destiny for me. Just about to hit level 20, and want to get some engrams before school and work destroy my life next week.

You on PS3?

Metro Redux for me. Will probably be mostly 2033 since I doubt I'll be able to beat that and start Last Light before the weekend is over.

Wow, DBJ, that is going to be rough.  It's not easy when you're going 7 days a week; no time to decompress.  At least you know that in 6 weeks, things will ease up a bit.  Good luck with the dealer school, that sounds pretty cool.

I was going to come on here and whine about not having any time for gaming lately, but now that feels like it would be akin to complaining about a papercut to someone who just lost their arm   I will say this, though- the new PS4 I mentioned when I filled in for you 2 weeks ago has been played for a grand total of 1.5 hours, and the garage door opener I was saying I needed to install I just finally got to this afternoon.  Oh well, that's life.  I'm hoping to play some Wolfenstein: The New Order this weekend.

I appreciate everyones kind words and well wishes. Means a lot :D Thanks guys!
