Video Recap: The Deer God, Rive, Citizens of Earth, and More!

Posted by FriskyTanuki in Time Paradox!, in SmashPad, Youtube 31 January 2015 - * * * - - · 13,254 views

Rather than post a new blog for each video, I figured I would hold off and offer up a recap of my most recent videos covering a variety of games. Covered below are Citizens of Earth, The Deer God, Halo 5 Guardians' MP Beta, Rive, and Trials Fusion.

I checked out the Halo 5 Guardians Beta and found out that I'm still not good at Halo MP, but still had fun...

Thinking about starting a Youtube channel. Thoughts, tips, suggestions?

Posted by MillerTime2523 in Miller's Blog, 17 November 2015 - - - - - - · 534 views

So I've recently been kicking around the idea of creating a YouTube channel with a few friends of mine. We usually get together to drink beer and play video games a couple times a week, so I figured we could give the Youtube thing a shot by just investing in a capture card and decent webcam. Just bought an HD PVR on Craigslist for $60, so I'm half way the...

Return of MST3K? Kickstarter begins. . . . https://www.kickstar.../bringbackmst3k

Joel and the bots are back (although no sign of Kevin, Mike, Bill, Mary Jo, Frank, or Trace at this point), maybe. A Kickstarter went up a few days ago, when I was too lazy to post about it, and it's already up to a cool $1.3 million of its $2 million base goal. With 29 days to go, it's looking p...

Fallout 4 proves the human eye can't tell the difference between 0 FPS and 60 FPS

Fallout 4, Polished Games and 1 more...

It's being reported that, at time the Xbox One version of Fallout 4 drops to 0 FPS. How do people know? Using pointless programs on computers to find out. Without that nobody would have been able to realize that the game was dropping to 0 FPS.

60 FPS making a difference being nothing more than a made up marketing ploy has now been irrefutably proven....

Have a Problem With A CAG? Settle It On the New Rumblr App.

CheapAssGamer has tens of thousands of registered members and there's about two of them that don't like my posts. And that pisses me off. So much so that we should settle it on the new Rumblr app.

Fundraiser for a Loved One

Hey Cag's,

This is kind of a weird and difficult thing for me to do, but I'm trying to help out a family so I'm spreading the word.

Yesterday morning my girlfriends father passed away unexpectedly. The family is trying to work together to raise money for a cremation and memorial. I don't have a facebook and my networking skills are not the greatest,...

More Cuphead Animation Cels I have been working on some custom animation cels as a hobby lately.
Cuphead has reinvigorated my passion for this classic style artwork.
Since my last blog I ordered some professional blank cels on EBAY.

I got 250 cels for an amazing deal. They came straight from Cartoon Color Company.

Another thing that I learned is they used gouache paint. This paint...

A Celebration of the Andy Sidaris Cinema Universe Explosions buttressed by decolletage. This is a chopped-up journey through the Sidaris Triple B shared cinematic universe. These movies are glorious in their own way and if you have an appetite for raunchy action, I advise you to seek them out in full.

If the game sounds familiar, you might have seen it when I released it on PS Mobile last year. This is a...

Tales from the Otherguy - A (biased) Review of Transformers Devastation

Posted by Otherguy676 in Blog Otherguy676, 10 October 2015 - - - - - - · 546 views

Hello All,

Welcome to my game review of Transformers Devastation, or TD as I'll be calling it for the rest of the post. As with any review, the reviewer wants to be as neutral and unbiased as possible. With a game like TD, that is very hard to do as TD does something that very few games does - it is aimed at the inner 6 year old of the game player who...

Posted by raarar in raarar's blog, 05 October 2015 - - - - - - · 683 views

It's been quite some time since I've written a blog. Figured a lot of bad stuff has been going to in my gaming world so I'd vent here.

I was playing Far Cry 3 on my PS3 and around an hour in it would freeze. It has been super hot this summer so I was thinking maybe it was just too hot for my system. I have my system in an entertainment center with a door...

Please make the NX the game console I've been wanting since the Gamecube. Make it a gaming first console and not a motion controlled, gigantic gamepad console that is being forcefully shoved down the consumers throat. Go back to what made the NES, SNES, Ni64 and Gamecube so great. They didn't have any of the gimmicky stuff to overcome. They wer...

Why am I Hubert Joly? Hubert Joly, what comes to mind when you think of him?

Best Buy CEO, Renew Blue, or no658ea3? Well, when I think of Hubert Joly I think of a CEO that has turned around a business and has made CAGs favorite retailer Best Buy. I have always wanted to write a bit about who I portray on this site and this is my chance.

Condemned 2: Bloodshot (PS3) Review Yet another early PS3 game is up for review, Condemned 2: Bloodshot released in the US in March of 2008. It is not available on PSN and thus can only be played via disc. It is the sequel to the Xbox 360 exclusive, Condemned: Criminal Origins, which I have never played since I don't own that system. I read a quick synopsis of the first game and watched its...

Welcome back to the final edition of the Bottom Barrel Bargain Bazaar. I only have five games left in the "49¢ or less" category and they're not going to play themselves -- although that would be supremely helpful. The batch last time was a chore but that means things can only be on an upswing, right? So set your Big Lots copy of Locating Zemo: A Non-D...
