Works great in my PS3!
I bought this to upgrade the harddrive for my PS3. The drive installed easily and after formatting it, it was good to go. I used it in a slim 120 to give myself lots of room for the PS+ games I was getting. The drive time doesn't seem any quicker or slower than the previous drive, and I can barely hear it when accessing my games list. It was definitely worth the $50 to get 500gb.

Great for the cost
It's not a perfect toy, but most of the joints are tight and it feels very solid. The price is perfect for what you are getting.
