I want to download a mod called Gameplay Rebalance AI+, but i don't want to replace the files for the default half life 2. I want to make a copy of the default half life 2 and placeit in the sourcemods folder so it can act as a mod. And there i want to replace the files. Can someone please explain how to do it?...

I don't know why this happens but every time I put a command like for example cl_showfps 1 and fps_max 999 (default is 300) every time I log in I have to enter the same commands again I don't know if it's because the game uses a different engine because the HL1 and Sven co-op commands are saved and I don't have to place them again Does anyone know how I can make the commands "saved" so to speak so I don't have to type them again in the console?...
