Currently we're working hard on significant updates specifically for Steam including major enhancements to gameplay. At this time we are not sure of feasibility but will assess later on down the track.

I'm sorry, what does that have to do with distributing Steam keys to existing buyers? It doesn't take much time at all to request the keys and then coordinate with indie Royale and just give them over. It's not like it would be eating into a large chunk of your time for "major enhancements".

If you are saying that you don't want to give the keys then you should come out and say that however be aware that it's generally accepted that developers do give keys to past bundle buyers when their game gets on Steam, particularly with Greenlight/Debut bundles whose purposes is to get those games votes in order to get into Steam, and nearly all other developers do this.

I would really like a better explanation than the one you are giving as far as just why you don't think those who supported your game early on by buying it in a Debut bundle and voted for it on Greenlight should not get keys when nearly every other developer in similar situations does in fact give those owners Steam keys.

most developers who refuse to give keys face major backlash, to many of us it's just a +1 in our libraries most of the time, but the damage it does to the developer/publishers reputation becomes the stuff of legends. On top of that most developers rethink their plan to exclude bundle buyers from getting keys but by the time they do their about face their reputation is already ruined and it becomes a case of too little too late.

I'd really hope this wouldn't be the case, especially when I'd suspect the bundle or bundle this game was in couldn't have been more than a few thousand..

The keys have been sent to Desura (thats who we deal with as we don't have details of customers). They will forward the keys to the appropriate distributor who has the details of those that purchased and they send them to you. You will need to contact the distributor for further details.

Cannot access Steam key from Desura or Indie Royale. I'd be happy to provide proof of purchase. Dev ignored first request months ago in March.
