Noob question. I thought you needed a level 5 badge before you can get a foil one. But I've now seen there are foil cards. So you get a foil badge by getting all the foil cards?

Yep, foil cards have a random chance of dropping once you get to level 10, with an increased chance of dropping every following ten levels. Usually kinda rare, hence the high value in the market.

Great idea (first game with steamworks suport for cards and levels?), but... Now everyone can obtain Golden Ship and it will not show in multiplayer that you "hazarder since 2011" :(
Please make something special for the "oldschool" DLC or another ship for level 5 badge ;)

I can't say that I'm terribly excited about it (especially by the foil one... that's pretty much asking people to spend $4+ to get that ship.)

You don't need to be level 10 to get the foil drops anymore, and your level doesn't affect their drop rates (that's booster packs.)

You will have TWO badges and two sets of cards - one foil and one standard. They are independent, so you can craft foil and have any level of standard badge or even don't have standard badge at all. You can look at my profile and find Portal 2 badges and/or Summer Getaway badge for examples

Pretty neat to see this game recieve new stuff.

Shouldn't the Dragon Ship be in the LVL 5 badge and the Gold Ship in the Foil badge? It would make more sense, and since the Foil cards are more difficult to get, the people that don't have the gold ship don't miss anything important since the difference is just in the colour, while the Dragon one changes the gameplay, so it should be in the regular badge because it's easier to get.

Ah yeah, because foil cards are kinda high price on market, some may say "hey it is p2w now" (Like my friend I linked this to).
Personally I don't think so. I also agree that lvl 5 ship shouldn't be the same gold ship (I don't have the gold ship but I understand the feeling of something unique becoming not so unique)

Also, do you have the ability to choose the ship you use in-game?

PS: (I already posted a thread about this but)for christs sake the unicode support while you are adding stuff, you promised something like that years ago afaik :(

Ah and, one suggestion I have:
Ability to play the song that BH starts randomly playing, as sometimes it is something really good and I have no idea where or what it is for 2 reasons:

• I have easily over 10k songs
  
• No unicode support and half of my songs have japanese filenames
