well for starters i started with the 20 dollar mics u get with the system well those arent worth 5 cents so i eventualy got the wireless mic not this model but the one before this at the time this new one didnt exsist so that was the best one anyway i had it for over a year and loved it long battery life always worked never had an issue the mic was good quality as well as sensitive so u didnt have to yell as to not hear what did u sya what what what so..the other day my dog got ahold of it and needless to say it was destroyed so i ordered this on friday received it today and wow i am impressed its comfy and small and well battery life not shure yet but seems like it will be the same...about 8 hours of talking anyway so...its great specialy the blutooth as we know the 360 dosent use blutooth and only 2.4 ghz wireless like a cordless phone so that part works great and if some one calls my phone all i gotta do it hit a button switch to blutooth wait 2 secs hit another and it answers it and i am hands free and gaming while talking AWSOME!! also if i need to make a call i can switch to blutooth hold down the button say call John and it calls John again AWSOME needless to say this is much better and as we speak im streaming pandora to it via blutooth awsome!!

If you have bought any kind of headset for the xbox that is bulky and looks like your child is about to take off in a helicopter and spent way too much money on it, then wonder why it didn't last long--you aren't alone. We bought two headsets before this one. Both were made by Turtlebeach. They both were terrible and not worth the money we spent on them.
This one, on the other hand, is WORTH THE MONEY!!!!!!! It is so small and fits on my son's ear very well. He hears people easily and visa versa. It was so easy to set up and tells you on the TV screen, when you are playing, if it's low on battery and needs to be plugged in. There is a different light on the headset that shows when it's being charged (when plugged in) and when it's fully charged.
Plus, I love that it is only on one ear! Now there is no excuse as to why he couldn't hear me :)

I bought this a couple of months before I bought the Xbox One. If I had known I was buying an Xbox One, I definitely wouldn't have picked up this particular headset since it doesn't work with the newer systems.

That said, I had an awesome few months playing with this on the 360. It's so much more convenient than the wired headsets. The best part is, no more of the annoying crackling / screeching noises that my wired headsets would frequently produce. Charging is super easy - just plug it into the Xbox with the supplied USB cable. Muting is easy, just tap the earpiece and a tone will let you know you are muted. It will also beep every so often (15 seconds maybe?) to let you know that you are still on mute.

Would highly recommend for the 360!

The original wired headsets were very sketchy quality wise, and at it's price point, just wasn't worth buying. This headset is wireless, and very easy to work with.

I've used this for my 360 every time I wanna chat in a party or just be heard during gaming sessions.

Fit:
+The headset comes with 3 different size nubs (is that what they call 'em...those rubber ear pieces?) and a plastic hook that goes around your hear. The nubs do fine...I used the 14.5mm size and it is pretty snug.
-However, the plastic ear hook is pretty crap. Often times, the headset slips and falls off my ear when I get over excited during my gaming sessions. It totally sucks that to ensure it doesn't slip, I have to sit completely still.

Connection:
+Really hassle free for the 360. Just power on, and sync (first time). I love the fact that you can change the connection to which controller you want it to be synced to. Haven't tried using 2 pieces together for 2 users on the same console, but considering that they allow it to be synced to corresponding controllers, then I'm pretty sure it will work just fine.
+/-Bluetooth wise, Idk. It works alright with my all my devices that supports the use of Bluetooth...but I can't seem to make it work 100% with the PS3. It works perfectly with one user, but another user...it bugs out, often unsyncing. Maybe because I shouldn't mix Microsoft products with Sony??? I'd like to believe that's not the case...

Audio:
-Receiving wise, it could do a bit better. I could hear everything clearly...in a closed and low volume environment. On full blast, it's still pretty quiet. I'd end up having the need to put receiving voice through the TV speakers sometimes.
+Outgoing wise, friends here me crystal clear. I had no problems with friends hearing static and echos unless I start walking a big distance away to what it's synced too.

In the end, every positive came with a negative. So I can't say it's bad, nor say it's good. It's just...okay.
If anything I'd say it's worth it only if you need a wireless headset on a budget...or if you find it at a discounted price.

This headset is great for what it's meant for: communicating with friends over Xbox Live. The sound is amazing and clear and the range is great too (I've communicated with friends while more than 5 feet from my xbox while being outside!). It also features a mute button if you need to talk privately with someone else in the room. Flip the slider on the side and there's an added bonus! This is a bluetooth headset! Here is where it doesn't perform as well. While pairing this device with my phone was quick and painless, I found that the range isn't quite so good as with the xbox (this headset uses an RF connection when used with the xbox). I found that I had to keep my phone (a Samsung Intensity) in the breast pocket of my jacket when I went out or the connection would sputter and drop out when listening to music. Call quality (when the phone is in my breast pocket) is great with most people thinking I had my phone to my face though some asked where I was if a vehicle drove past me. The Mute button also worked in bluetooth mode. This headset also comes with a removable ear clip if you prefer to have the headset on either ear and also a few different sizes of ear padding (in case your ear canal is bigger or smaller than the one already on the device). I would recommend this device to anyone because of the versitility of using it with either your xbox or your bluetooth devices, adding more bang for your buck so to speak. it's also solidly built (as one would expect from a microsoft product) with nothing feeling cheap or loose.

Get this headset! It really works! And there's no cords or wires to trip on or get in your way!

its the perfect wireless xbox360 headset, it has great range and uninterrupted sound quality. It can be used as a bluetooth headset for a cell phone as well, and even though the mic may be far from your mouth, it still picks up your voice wonderfully.

only problem...the plastic ear hook is easy to break, and finding an ear hook replacement that actually fits this headset, can be difficult as well as expensive.

so if you get this, be careful and dont break the ear hook....
