Great Game (from Beta aspect)
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.PLayed the beta back in July. Thought it was a lot of fun. It had the pace of MW2 but slightly larger maps. Which is a plus. The only issue I have when DICE develops a game is when reloading a weapon. When you reload an empty weapon, you must pull the charging handle to chamber a round or hit the bolt release. DICE just uses one animation for all types of reloading for guns. Its a small issue, but someone who plays with real life firearms, sees this and just annoys me. But doesnt hurt the gameplay. To those complaining about playing as the Taliban in MULTIPLAYER. Its not a bit deal because in COD MW1 +2, you plays as what...A MIDDLE EASTERN TERRORIST. So how is this any different? Oh because they use the word Taliban. Get over it. Didnt bother people before and it shouldnt be a big deal. Its Medal of Honor's way of making the media talk about the game just like COD MW2 controversial part where you are a (undercover US agent) terrorist shooting up an airport. Just to get media attention to hype the game. Get this. It will be fun.

Way to short of a story line for $60
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I loved the graphics and the way that this game jumped from area to area. I am not a big gamer and started at the lowest difficulty, I had to jump up in difficulty to make it a challenge. There was a lot of good stuff in the game but I found a lot lacking. One thing I like to do is be able to pick my weapons in this game you can't. As for the multi-player that everyone is jumping up and down about. You must all be the guys that live on the system and kill me five seconds into the game. Newbies are at a disadvantage with the more skilled players getting the better weapons. That for me really take the fun out of it, I liked the older Delta Force Games that let everyone choose what weapons they wanted and didn't require promotions to get the goods.

Don't Buy
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this on sale - was unable to load onto my computer despite trying various things, e.g., turning off virus scan. Finally gave up. Only spent $5 so it's not even worth returning.

good multiplayer game even with controversy
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The multiplayer game has to have two sides in order to be played... one is the USA and the other is controversial. I was lucky enough to have played two multiplayer maps for an extended period of time. I am a fan of most FPS games and found this one to be right up there with the best in graphics and game play. The game speed and weapons are more realistic and the rank up system is good with each soldier class ranking up separately. On the down side I wish this game had more destructable environments like BFBC2. Trees can be leveled but buildings hold up. Overall it was an enjoyable multiplayer game no matter which side I was on. As for the single player storyline I haven't played it so I can not comment on that.

Among The Best Games Ever
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you love Battlefield 1942, 1943, or the Bad Company series, you'll love this. The game is simple enough anyone can pick it up and have a blast. The single player game is intense and you can change the difficulty to suit your skill. Auto-save points are frequent, so you don't have to replay much when you eat it. The multiplayer part of the game is awesome. Different options for goals and servers always availabale. There is a role-playing element to weapons/career advancement in the multiplayer game as riflemen, special ops (close quarters), and sniper. As you advance in the multiplayer environment, you have more weapons configuration options. Up to 24 players in multi-player games. In multiplayer, you have options to join quick games or play drawn-out games with attack/defend strategies. It's easy to squeeze a multiplayer game in. Definitely rated M for profanity (f-word all over the place) and violence/blood. Keep the children away from this one. I have an i7-930 with a Radeon 5850 and can run the game with all options at full smoothly. It's just an all-around great game.

Excellent game.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game really has been a relief for me. I had massive expectations for realism and I got it. Wasn't more than I expected, but it didn't let me down either. Campaign: Once again a great DICE Single player with the acception of once again being a little to short. Guns, Tactics, military tech, realistic characters, and amazing settings in Afghanistan made this game unbelievably good. The campaign rolled together like a movie. The cut scenes were fantastic, and so was the actual game play. All I can say is Thumbs up DICE. The campaign really had a sense of Emotion which went well with the very human side of this game. They really got the guns, and the tactics down on this game on the campaign. This game really simulates real combat. Only downside was the ending was a bit of a let down, and it was a little short. but other than that it was awesome. Multiplayer: I would explain it as a mix between Bad Company 2 and Call of Duty MW2. I'm not going to say I like it more than BC2. but I do love the multiplayer. You have some Destructible environments in the multiplayer but still a lot less then BC2... you can't take down a entire building. The recoil on the guns is less then in the Campaign to improve online fun + balance. Map designs are the massive up side to the multiplayer. The 3 classes are great they add plenty of variety. and the weapons are fun to use. The game just has a great feel to it online very addicting. The "Score Chain" awards aren't to over powered but still very affective. Some problems that plague all FPS games, some base killing, sniper a little over powered, some camping, but thats it. Maps are smaller but still very fun. I would recommend getting this game, however 60 dollars is very expensive. For Me it has been worth it. I really like the game. Medal of Honor has brought us some good realism for once and I think started a new generation of First Person shooters. The human side of the story line along with tactical, and gun realism makes the game a must buy.

Excellent game, modern storyline
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'd give this one a 4 out of 5. EA have doen their usually great game one better and really started to take this to the next level. As for "Controversy" - that only exists in the heads of three people who have a real deep-seated need to trash a video game? There is nothing controversial in this game anymore than any other FPS where you can play as one side or another in a multiplayer game. Only a person who doesn't play video games would believe that a game would be banned from being played somewhere because it portrays an enemy. If it was accurate enough in tactics, it would probably be used in training, not banned. However, some people need to feel they've had their say I guess. The game is worth the price, provided that the dates don't slip, the product is ready when it rolls out and they can fix the remaining few issues that kept if from getting 5 stars.
