I work at a game store and we had a NES come in for an older woman in her seventies who's pretty ill. We held it back for her for a few days, but one of my co-workers accidently put it out yesterday and it got sold. So, when she came today all excited for it, we had to tell her that it accidently got sold, she nearly started crying. So, here I am, looking for a NES for her. We sell them for $30, but only give $20 for one being traded in, so despite me losing out some money on this, if somebody could sell me the system with one controller, av cable, and power cable, I would appreciate it.

I know I posted this in the trading forum, too, but I was afraid it may get pushed back to the 5th page too quickly, so I apologize for posting twice, but I'm trying to find a NES asap.

Man that sounds terrible and good for you that you're not making your co-worker pay for the mistake!

I'm sure there is someone here who could help you out. :)

If you're near a Game Crazy, they sell the system in the above link. (At least the ones around me were a couple months ago.)

Ask if someone in the Pittsburgh area has access to any of the nearby The Exchange locations if you can. Their NES prices may still be around $20 to $40 for exactly what you are looking for. It may be a bit more but they are usually good quality since they test them before buying them from people.

You may also luck out and could get a handful of quality titles for $1 apiece as well if you ask the right person. Unfortunately, I'm not one of those since I'm in IN nowadays, but perhaps some other kind samaritan can help you.

Or...I wonder if you could call them yourself? The workers there are usually quite nice as well as the managers so if you could sell them on the idea maybe you can get it that way.
