Rude Drivers - How Does Your City Rate?

#1

Miami is so fucked up that I didn't even take notice to the rude drivers as much as all the other shit. XD We would win all the negative awards, hands down.

Detroit

No one can drive worth a fuck around here.
I drive scared because I know half of these mofos don't have insurance.

#22. I feel like it should be in the top 20 though. All I know is every day I go out driving that isn't work related I swear some idiot is trying to kill me. Well, at least I know my brakes still work.. Probably due for some new tires now though. ~_~

I have to laugh though because when I use to ride around with my grandfather he would always say "Go live in Chicago and learn to drive you assholes!"

#18? Really? Now, I don't see a lot of road rage, but I do see drivers slow to a fuckin' *crawl* if there's too much sun, so much as a hint of rain, or well, any weather condition, really.

Chicago was more exciting to drive in than Cincinnati - though that, of course, justifies its spot on the top of the list.

Don't know if "exciting" is the word I'd use. I need to find an alternate route to work...

WTF pls, Rhode Island was shown to have the worst drivers in another study, yet they're not even on this? They're not rude, they just suck ass, which I think counts as being rude when it's that excessive.

They only examined 25 cities, so any omissions are because they were left out of the research methods.

Hell yea! I mean...I agree.

I see a lot of impatient drivers, you'll usually get just under a second to move on a green light before someone behind starts leaning on the horn.
23 and 25.. depending which area I'm in.. I dunno, I've never noticed bad drivers.
Well there's a difference between rude and bad drivers, though the two can be connected.

There's plenty of bad drivers, but rudeness isn't as bad as, say, LA or NY.

I live fairly close to #8, close enough to have driven there countless times, and it never seems that bad... worse then where I live, but that's to be expected in a larger city.
23 and 25.. depending which area I'm in.. I dunno, I've never noticed bad drivers.
That's why they're #23 and #25. The survey took 25 metropolitan areas and ranked them amongst each other. It's not the top 25 cities with rudest drivers of all cities in the US, so the list is basically saying Portland is the politest metropolitan area.

Woot! #8!

I like to think I had something to do with our high ranking, I simply don't tolerate slow drivers and make it well known to them when I'm behind them that it is unacceptable.

New York City Sucks... #2...

Taking public transportation is pretty bad because people won't let you cross the damn streets!
#6

Not really surprised. I've had tons of friends that have been victims to hit and runs.
Yeah but it really should be higher though, I'm thinking ours is probably #3 or 2
Boston & Phoenix? really? It's seemed fairly normal when I drive there.
They're fucking idiots down here. I'm surprised we're not higher.

#9 I'm a bit surprised, thought Philly would be higher. I've seen plenty of asshole drivers. Especially around the Northeast suburby area. Drunk/stoned nouveau russian teens are pretty bad, then again so are my friends, we actually had a race/cut-off contest with drunk asshole ruskies before.
#4

Damn...

Yea the driving is crazy.
Quoted for agreement. Even being in one of the smaller cities in the greater LA area, it's bad.

I don't agree that Los Angeles is worse than San Diego. I drive both daily and I dread SD more than LA.

If you drive in both cities daily, do you even have time for any other activities? Heh.
