Cheap Advance Wars: Dual Strike (DS)

This game came out in 2005, yet I see it for sale for $30-35 at amazon, and I can't find it at my local Ebgames. $35 is too much for a two year old game.

Where can I find a copy for about $20?
 
It is a rare and out-of-print quality Nintendo game. What do you expect? Try looking at some of the prices on older Mario games or the older iterations of Smash Bros. This stuff will not fall in price. Just won't.
 
A used copy at EBGames can be found for 17.99, I have seen them occasionally. You will not find a good price on a new one unless you are very lucky.

I've rented it from Gamefly with the hopes of using "buy it now" but it's currently not for sale. It is a pretty fun game but unless they re-release it like they did with the first Castlevania game it'll be tough to come by cheaply. A search of recently closed ebay auctions shows it going for $25-$35 bucks.

Hopefully the casing won't be so damn godawful.
 
I sold my Sealed one on Ebay last month for $45.00 Shipped. I had bought one when it first came out back int he day. The game to me was very slow in the beginning. So slow I played 30 mins before I stopped and never went back.
 
I got lucky and found a new copy at a local GameRush, and three more at another location. I bought the one at the first location for myself, and I bought two at the other one (one to sell on eBay (sold for $37.00 shipped), and one to sell to a friend on another forum, which I did at price). If I was really greedy, I could have bought the last copy as well, but I decided to leave it for someone else who wants it (if any fellow CAGs in San Antonio are looking for the game, PM me and I'll tell you which store it's at).
 
I believe MSRP should actually be $19.99. I'd check Wal-Mart, or other places that update the univeral price drops but never actually clearance games.

Other you'll just have to keep checking in at used game stores or hope to find one in the CAG trading forum for a decent price (not likely though :()
 
Yeah, $19.99 is the MSRP for this game (that's how much I paid for all my copies, and I remember seeing it for that much when it was easy to find in stores). And I think someone even made a thread about a month ago saying how they were able to find it at Wal-Mart, so it definitely wouldn't hurt to check there.

Yea, OP, you came a little late to the party. When the MSRP dropped to $19.99 a while ago (along with other games, like Canvas Curse), the game was meant to be cleared out, so now it is rather hard to find. Try K-Mart at the least if you want a deal on it, or try to find a used copy.

I'm getting ready to put mine on ebay and I'm looking to get $40 for it. Looks like I will be able to get that much.
 
I bought my copy used at EB during a b2g1 one to supplement the 17.99 price. but a few months ago TRU had them on clearance for like $7.50. I picked it up just to trade but never traded it and then last week i realized they were getting hard and harder to find so i decided to put it on ebay and with it being sealed i was able to get like $15 for it ended for $50, so there is no way your really going to find it for less than 17.99 unless its hidden on a back shelf and on clearance. So i would check your local TRU and Kmarts.
