well regardless of what time it comes out, it's well worth watching. It would really suck to see this film fail at the box office just because it's foreign.
I'm hoping they delayed it in order to get it better advertised. Only time I saw it anywhere was a trailer during hot fuzz and not too many people went to see that movie.

I love Steve as well so I hope it's good. So far it's metacritic score is really really bad however. (40) Still it would obliterate any other comedy opening the same weekend.

I don't know about that. Norbit and Night at the Museum were both recent terrible comedies with bad reviews, yet were huge successes at the box office. And neither had as big of a rising star as Carell.

The way I see it is that it looks bad and its a sequal to a movie that no one asked for (and the usual rule of thumb is that since its not a franchise, they always do worse than the first film). If anything, I think Even Almighty will make about 12-15 mill.
