Just found out my bloomberg interview will only be shown in Asia.





I'm about to leave my apartment and head out to the airport to start my E3 adventure. This is going to be a very long Tuesday!

It's Tuesday afternoon in Japan. I woke at 6am for my 7:45am spot on BBC's Asia Business Report and I will leave my apartment soon, around 1:30pm, to start my trek to Narita Airport.
My flight leaves at 5:05pm.

Hopefully, with the help of some sleeping aids, I will be able to sleep for 6-8 hours on the plane. The flight is about 10 hours.
I will arrive in Los Angeles at 11:10am. I will drop my bags off at the hotel, and then head to Citibank to take care of some business that I can only do in person. I will head over to the Fairmont Hotel and get my E3 credentials and then go to the Le Merigot Hotel to pick up my Sony Press Conference credentials. I'll probably eat some lunch too.

Then, it's back to my hotel, where I hopefully will be able to check-in and take a shower. If I am up for it, I will try to head over to IGJA party around 5pm to "warm up" for the Microsoft Press Conference at 8:30pm.

I'm still waiting to hear back from Sony about the Killzone 2 event afterwards, but I'm not holding my breath. Regardless, it should be a very long Tuesday!



 
Wish I could be there this year. Oh well. I'm predicting that this year's E3 will be such a disaster that they'll revert back to the old format.

I can dream can't I?
 
have fun Cheapy, it really diggs at me that I live so close to e3 this year and yet I cannot go like previous years which took a drive on the 10. Much sadness.
 
so exciting! looking at the time, your on your flight right now probably trying to sleep, haha. wish i knew what channel bloomberg was...i probably dont get it if i dont know about it.

Hopefully all goes well. Now that it's not so ungodly flashy I wish I could go. Granted I'd like for it to still be large and go but ehh, chances are that I will never be able to go if it stays pretty much invite only. :p

Supposedly the ESA is trying to put together some type of game show "for the consumer" this fall at the same place E3 use to take place at. Maybe it might be worth checking out but I've only heard about it once.

yeah that's the E for all Expo, but after not paying for E3 all these years I don't feel like paying $90 to go heh, also it will probably be less like e3 used to be, only time will tell.

Now it's time to take care of my banking and pre-register for the show.


p.s.
I predict the show will go fine and next year, they will cancel it anyway.
 
I thought the Killzone event was at the same time as MS, not afterwards.

And it's only open to 150 select members of the press. CAG and Sony have never exactly been bedfellows, what with you guys not even having connections comparable to what you have with MS and Nintendo.

Well things are already a disaster; the hotel's wi-fi is down. Luckily I live 45 minutes away. All the moving from hotel to hotel is going to be a pain. Well at least the food will be better, and there's the beach. But I do miss Kentia Hall!

hah, I don't know if that'll happen, but who knows. I just want to try out some crap like rock band :). I was thinkin of going to that EIEIO and E3 Funeral thing since it's open to everyone.

Aha, I was watching AGI's Scott Rubens Live Webcam feed (Hes got a camera strapped to his head, haha) and CHEAPYD approached them! And they chatted it was neato. (Rightoutside the conference)

And Scott said to CheapyD, "Hey DarkNessBear says 'Hi" And CheapyD said he knows me!

Lol.

Hopefully they will put the interview up on their website.
