Hey all - first post and all that fun stuff (yay)

My local Best Buy is opening at midnight monday night/tuesday morning and will have free madden t-shirts for the first 50 people. Looks like the mix is only XL and L.

I have seen the shirt, its actually kinda nice. White shirt with a large Madden Challenge logo on the front and on the back it lists the locations and dates the challenge is taking place.

The ad says the first 50 customers - so dunno how your local store is going to translate that.

Look at the back page of this weeks BB ad (or go to bestbuy.com and view your local ad) the offer is on the BACK page, it will also tell you the closest store to you opening at 12 (at least my ad does since I have a local store opening).

Note - they only have 49 stores opening at 12 and these will be the only ones with the shirt.

And I live in San Diego and the local BB is El Cajon.

Cool, thankfully my bb is really close to my gamecrazy where im picking my madden up. Do you know if you have to reserve the game there to pick the shirt up?
 
Not all BBY's will be opening at midnight. Only a very select number. I believe that's like 8-12 stores or something like that.
 
Ya, not even the ones in the city of Boston are opening only one in the suburbs, and that's the only one offering shirts.

Is there a list of stores doing this other than the weekly ad? The weekly ad won't even load for me for some reason. Anyone know if there are any in CT opening at midnight?

Wow the BB they are doing this at in my area is 30 mins away , not really worth it seeing all I want is the shirt lol that will be worth more than the game in a few months....

Looks like you are outta luck - it does not list a store at all in your local ad. I would call your local BB just to double check.

Very back page. From what I am seeing if it says sometihng like 'catch it tuesday' then there is no store by you doing the opening. If there is a store listed, then there ya go.

Hey man! Na, just the El Cajon store is doing it here in SD. How late is the GC in Balboa open? Maybe you can be at BB when it opens and then run over to GC. But I dunno if they are just handing it out to you as you walk in the store or when you buy the game.

I think I'm gonna just get my full refund on it, and then go to TRU to buy it because it's cheaper over there.
 
Atlanta folks: Available at Gwinnet and Stone Mountain (both too far for me to go...was hoping Perimeter or Cobb would get it).

i hope my BB has the shirts, almost all of my t-shirts are from promotions like these so this is like adding clothes to my wardrobe :p
 
drat no tshirt for me, already pre ordered/pick up at a non participating store, dont feel like driving to the city at midnight and having my car stolen ;)

smart move. theres a lot that can be done with that $$$ you save

...speaking of $$$ i wonder if toysrus is making any profit because of that discount or if their actually loosing money?
