[DEAD] Pontiac Halo 3 winners discussion thread

I won one of the 2500 entries to the imax in san fran, but only 200 will actually get in. lame.

The copy of the game contest for some reason i got the city/state right, and then filled out the question and got it right, but it acted like i didnt... weird.

Same here, got into the NYC event but read the fine print and it said 2500 tickets will be given out and the first 200 will be let in with one guest each, that's 400 people! I'm not gonna get there early in the morning to get a spot for when the doors open at 9PM, that's lame to do it that way. If they got 400 seats available then they should only give out 400 invitations!

Same deal for me except for the NY location. The first to won game is like a random instant winner situation from the people that get the answer right in the first stage.

I got the metreon thing also, but it's lame that they're only letting in such a small amount. I don't think i'm even gonna bother trying.
 
Scored my free copy before street in the contest that went up tonight. They burned through those 250 copies in about 30 minutes.

When its actually 1986, but now its saying "Sorry you dont meet the requirements for this" everytime I try to go back to the website :$

Still showing the Huntsville/Hammerhead ones from yesterday for me. Does it change over at 12:00 central time instead, maybe?

EDIT - Actually, the website says 9/12, so it's actually Wednesday. So Tuesday at 11:59:59, be ready.

Are the prizes gone pretty quick, or do you actually have time to look up the Pontiac question?

I wanted to help out fellow CAGers so the first one the post the answer in the chat room will get in the Call of Duty 4 Beta. Must have Xbox Live Gold and 360 of course.

I think 11 AM EST is when it goes live in the morning, but I got a code around.. 12/12:30 EST today, aka noonish. GameSpot accounts are free, so yea. Don't buy/get bribed with a code... but do make sure you get the stuff cracked so I can nab a free copy tonight :O

I'm not bribing anyone, I'm just sayin the first one to post the code will get in. I didn't say they had to.
