Wii for ps3

So there is guy on my local CL selling a Wii with an extra controller, RE 4, RAving RAbbits, Madden 07, Wii Play, Wii Sports, and FarCry.

He aslo has these games on the VC Mike Tyson's punchout, Super Mario Brothers, Mario 64. He says he would trade for a ps3. Now, I was thinking I could trade for his unit and then re-sell it at X-mas time and make some serious cash, so around December 10-20 I imagine I could get at least $400 for the system? Comments? Ideas?

Should I just make him a cash offer instead?

Why? Its not like Wii is even rare anymore. My costco has 20+ of stacked on a pallet not moving. Christmas demand for year old console that was already hyped isnt going to be alot.

And besides, with any places that do have Wii's lying around you have to consider that shipments have been being increased and we are just a couple of weeks from the Christmas rush starting.

But I still would not count on being able to sell a used Wii for enough to make it worth you troubles. I definitely don't see a used Wii going for more than retail on a PS3.

Oh, and I guarantee this guy doesn't have Mike Tyson's Punch-Out! on his Wii.

Yep, there was just a news store I read (CNN, I think) about another holiday shortage again.

And yeah, I'm sure the guy is confused. It has to be the Tyson-less Punch-Out.
