Animal Crossing is Tragic
Made me tear up a little bit. Seriously. Especially the part where the villagers were asking where she went.
i hear you bro  that was heartwrenching

My dad did pretty much the same thing. I'd pick Animal Crossing back up after not playing it for a few weeks and see that my mailbox was full for a couple days with presents from my dad.

Then again, he ain't dead, so it's not as tragic/touching.

That was great. Brought a tear to my eye.

I'm moving this to the general gaming forum as this is more than just a gamecube story.

No, the video may be "touching" but the villagers asking where she went is way beyond that. Hardcore.

I'm male (surprise!), 25 years old (surprise!) and there were some tears present.

I'm married, musical, and sensitive.

I didn't find this very sad. Then again, my heart is a lump of black coal. Mom should've spent more time with the kid than with AC in my opinion.

I almost don't have the heart to mention that everybody gets presents from thier imaginary "in-game" "mom" in Animal Crossing - unless, of course, the messages were personalized. Still, oddly touching for an Animal Crossing story.

I'm going to remain optimistic here... I mean if she was on it all the time I would think that she would send her kid presents. Maybe I'm believing what I want to believe here.

You'd have to be really stupid to get the two mixed up, and besides I doubt her name was "Mom" in it. Also, if I remember correctly... messages from real people in the villlage have a different color from those of the animals.

Dude, the disease gradually became worse. She was confined to the house for a few years from what that inferred before she could no longer play. Real or not, it's touching.

touching is good

Yeah, that's a nice story. The sentimental music and drawings and all set the mood well, so that you could really feel like the kid did. thanks, OP

i did not watch with sound i am confused as it says she was born with polio ok first of all wouldn't it keep her from having kids?
