I sold a ps3 game to one buyer and a wii game to another.

When I get the pay pal payments, I use a text file to type the game and then copy/paste the address from the pay pal payment.

This hadnt happened before but apparently when I right clicked "copy" for the ps3 buyers address, it didnt take.

Being in a big f'n rush I was just copying/pasting away.

Turns out I sent the ps3 game to the buyer with the wii game he bought.

The buyer for the ps3 game hits me up asking about. After doing some digging I had found my mistake.

I called the ps3 buyer and let him know my mistake and one way or another, Ill take care of him.

I try contacting the wii game buyer. I already had fb from him so I know he got the ps3 game too.

What irks me is he got that extra game and didnt say anything.

I finally get a email from the guy and he says the wii game was for his son and since he didnt have a ps3, he took the ps3 game to gamestop and sold it to them for 10.00...To me that sounds kinda cheap for that game factory sealed.

Either way its all my fault and Im sol but if I was sent a extra game like that, Id contact the seller first. *sigh*

*edit*
The dad did offer to pay pal me the 10.00 that was made off that game.

He had no right to do that... ask him why he sold something that was not his.

I did this exact thing a few years ago. I sent the person paypal $10 and asked them to drop the other package in the mail and keep the change. They made $6 and I was quite happy with the outcome.

I just told him he taught his son a great lesson and that I sincerely hope one day someone makes a profit off of one of his or his sons honest mistakes. Its all good.

In the long run Im not gonna lose any money so thats cool.
How is it that you didn't lose any money? Did you get the PS3 game for free?
Well...In all I lost what I paid originally plus shipping.

Take that total and subtract it from the profits of all the other games Ive sold recently, and Im nowhere near being at a loss.

Guess it just depends on how you look at it.

Damn, that sucks.

And honestly, WTF is up with that guy who wrongfully got the PS3 game? He sees that he gets a game from you that he didn't win and rather than ask about it, he trades it in to Gamestop? WTF?

There's no doubt he's lying and is just keeping the game... I wonder if PayPal/eBay would help in this case?
