Liongames has great prices on used games, the best I've seen... the added coupon makes them a steal.

Even with shipping, there are some fantastic deals on that site. Too bad I'm such a huge cheapass.


I would, however, much prefer if liongames didn't seem to go the cheap way by hiding the real costs in big shipping fees. This coupon basically amounts to free shipping.

yeah it's basically like buying off ebay without the paypal protection. but liongames does seem to building up a decent rep though.

I accept paypal as well as credit cards and if your address is confirmed with paypal I beleive you are protected. With ebay you never know who you are dealing with and you never know what kind og condition the game is in. With me if the game isnt excellent or is missing the directions or something like that, I tell you right in the game title.
 
Even with shipping there are some good games/deals to be had. I also like that there is a description of the condition for the used games.

From what I know of how shipping with insurance and such works, it's actually pretty reasonable for priority. First class, not so much, but just buying two games with this deal negates shipping alltogether. Great deals Tony, I just wish it could've been on CoD4 instead of Mass Effect :lol:

Games are in excellent condition unless otherwise stated in the game title. Shipping is very reasonable. I am not hiding any profit in the shipping cost. This has been explained in detail in other threads. I have pay shipping cost as well as about $2.00 to $2.50 in other fees per transaction. My shipping cost is a shipping and handling fee cost combined. I put those extra expenses in my shipping cost other retailers may put these expenses in the price of the games. I promise you it isnt hidden profit.

Can someone tell me how in hell to buy something on that website. I click on a game that he says he has one copy of, for instance, and when I get to the game page there is not a link anywhere to buy or add to cart or anything. How do you buy the game? Besides a brain, I must be missing something fundamental here.

Tony, can you use two coupon codes on a single order? I wanted to pick up Mass Effect and a couple of used games but your site would drop one of the coupons.
 
There's some sort of glitch with the inventory. For example, Phantasy Star Universe says it has one stock in the used games page, but out of stock when you try to add to cart.
 
This has some amazing deals on used and new games (Call of Duty 4 for 43 dollars?!) but unfortunately I am in a hole right now and with games like AC and Mass Effect out, I'd never even get to CoD4 until my birthday anyway in February.
 
My first post and just wanted to add that Tony from Liongames is amazing, im stationed overseas and he helped me with my order lighting fast. Please support them.

Got Mass effect by the way, thanks to the OP, it pushed me over the edge to finally get it.

He probably hasn't updated the information on his site yet with all the traffic he's probably gotten today.

Depending on how you interpreted my statement and how I interpret your statement, the answers can fly in completely different directions.

For the most part, just don't assume that when you see an item on the front page, it will be at the price and availability you see it at.

1 coupon per order. you will need to do 2 orders to do what you want to.
 
stupid question: Where do i type in the coupon code? I tried to do Mass Effect and I got confused, although I wouldn't be surprised if they were all gone but it would be good to know for the future how to do coupons

What happens is I list the used games on the front page when i get them in. After someone buys one or all that i have i have to manually change them from showing up on the front page. so yes you do get games that you cant put into the cart because I am out of stock. If i get time tommorow I will go back and correct those front pages. Sorry about that.

I emailed you. The cod4 for $43 was part of a trade special that ended over a month ago. I did return your email with an offer.
 
Can you use two codes together? Like say, if you buy a new halo and a used game?

EDIT: Nevermind, I'll just buy the titles separate I guess. Higher shipping bill, though I guess it's only 2.50. Or I might just skip one of them. Anyway, thanks for the headsup on the deals. If I have a good experience here, I will definitely be buying from Liongames again.

That balance payment is for people who left a deposit in the past when i ran another special before 7/25/07 Right now Mass effect is 44.99 after you punch in the coupon code blackfridaymass
 
Ordered Mass Effect for the BF price (best I've seen, even with shipping), have a few days before I'm back at school (where the 360 is). So if this transaction goes well, I'll probably be coming back.
