NeoGeo Battle Coloseum (US)...Load Times?

I haven't got it yet,but I ordered I'll let you know when I get it,but I'm sure someone will beat me to it. I've heard they was long according to some people that had it.

That's pretty much what the brats over at Gamefaqs were saying. I couldn't find a solid response about progressive scan but that's not a huge deal.

Being as that KoF XI didnt have progscan, I wouldnt hold my breath for it in this game. :cry:
 
I'm playing this on my 80GB PS3 and there's hardly any load times at all. Must've been fixed for the US version. Btw, this game is fucking great.

Cos its $10-15 dollars. I no longer have to go to play-asia or somewhere similar and pay $65+ for it. I will let SNK slide on the finer points cos Im getting something that was expensive, for crazy cheap. If I were paying $40 or more, like older releases they put out, things like missing display modes, or shoddy translation would bother me more. Im just happy they are still releasing quality games on the ps2 in 07 and 08. FOR FIFTEEN DOLLARS! :lol:

One of the few times I sort-of agree with you.
 
I haven't played the US Neo Geo BC, but SNK/P USA have been notorius for awful translations glitches & bugs. I'd imagine their's some bad Engrish lurking in the game somewhere.

Bad Engrish doesn't bother me with fighters so much, but the Card Fighters game for the DS was unacceptable. The Euro version of KOF XI was also shit. Words running off, the game freezing, etc.

The load times in the Japanese version were also long. So this isn't a new thing.
 
Got since wednesday, but yesterday was when I had a chance to play'em both, kofXI and NEOGEOBATTLE COLISEUM, AND the load times were not an issue, go and get it!!
 
I can't seem the find the game , besides amazon.com.
But, Hopefully Load time isn't a problem.

I know that loading is quicker on the ps3, but i'm still worried bout the ps2
 
Load times were fine for me. Though there is real bad slowdown with certain characters on a stage with a 3d dragon moving in the background. Oddly enough it only happens on the daytime version of the stage and not the nighttime. Noticed specifically when playing as Rock Howard on the stage. Might've just been my 60gig ps3 though.

Other than that one stage, I love the game.

Edit: As for translations, they have some odd word choices in post-match dialogue. Asura alone...
