Anyone know where to purchase replacement pads? Mine has a tear in it. My Ds Lite is out of warranty so sending it back to Nintendo is out of the question.
 
you could email them and ask where you can buy replacement parts, but as far as i know they don't carry the dpads

out of curiosity how did you break it?
 
I t is the little rubber piece with the 4 contacts that touch the motherboard. There is a tear on it due to usage ( I bought it on launch) . I opened the DS to clean it and noticed that it was torn. It still works great but I just want to have a spare one available should it become torn completely.
 
ooooooooh, that exact same thing happened to my dc controllers, both of them, waaaaaaay too much third strike, anyways your best bet is to try an online site, theres very little chance that nintendo will actually be selling those contact pads
