GO GIANTS!!!

but damn, I know this is a playoff game and all... I guess the price of seating is why I don't watch man sporting events here in the US.

No the tickets didn't cost that much he's trying to boost his profit. World Series tix here in CO were like 65 per seat. Max 250 for field seats. So looks like he is trying to get what he paid and then some.

Yeah, the other term for it is scalping. And if he was caught doing that in front of the stadium he would be put in the same jail as those gap tooth Wisconsin hookers.

And I dont care what anyone says, theres nothing better then watching an NFL game on a big screen HDTV at home with a bunch of friends.

Is there a 50-year waiting list for season tickets at Coors Field?

Didn't think so.

People sell things when demand is high for a profit. Welcome to the New World, Columbus.

What he said. I also think that football tickets cost a lot more, I paid 100 for an Eagles playoff ticket way back in the day, and that was face value in the 700 section, which was waaaayyy up in the Vet.

If you look at StubHub or Ebay, the cheapest tickets for this game are over $550 per ticket, so this is actually cheaper than either of those sources. ANY tickets to a Packers' game are going to be expensive, let alone the NFC Championship game.

Yeah, I'm agreeing with this one. I'm a big pack fan who'd love to go to the game, but the prices are very very high.

he's actually the cheapest I've seen, damn good seats too

Oh yeah? If these don't sell, that is EXACTALLY what I'll do. It is legal in certain areas by the stadium, which I'm sure you'd know if you weren't a clueless threadcrapper.

I'm not trying to fool anyone here, these tickets are really pricey and I am actually selling for a friend because they are computer stupid. I suggested this price because it is under the going rate, and I certainally can't afford them and my friend can't afford not to.

To be fair you guys didnt even sell out the NLCS until right before game time, lol.

Oh, and go GIANTS!!!!!!!

Any team that plays hard against the Pats when theres nothing to "gain" by it is good in my book.

And fuck the Colts for laying down and dying vs. Tennesse
And fuck shitsburgh for being shitsburgh
And fuck Baltimore for stealing my team

I don't think the guy is ripping anyone off. Football tickets are insanely expensive. It is fun to watch a game on an HDTV but to go to the game and feel the intensity of the crowd and cheer is pretty damn fun too. I would never pay $900 for tickets but I can see how they would be worth it if I was a Packers fan.

Ticket scalping has no uniform federal, state or even local laws applied to it. So yes, it's very much legal, otherwise StubHub et al would not be in business.

Agreed.

I don't even understand that arguement anyway. Should I call the police on you the next time you sell a game above MSRP?

Oh well, keep the comments coming....this is keeping it on the top page!

sorry, but a packer game at lambeau where the winner moves onto the super bowl and will most likely have a packers team rematching a patriots team on top of this already being deemed ice bowl part two.... thats reason enough to go to the game rather than watch it in hd. I mean shit, HD snow flakes are whack, you gotta experience lambeau first hand. GO PACK GO!

I was waiting for you to chime in. GO PACK GO!

lol, if these are still around tomorrow afternoon and have not sold I MAY be able to have my dad spring halfsies so we could take the tickets off your hand (from the appleton area). Ill let you know though.

BTW be careful if you do go the scalping ticket route... if you sell to some shady mofo who does something dumb he could be kicked out of the game and your friend would lose his season tickets for it. Than again... thatd only bring my name one spot higher on the list for season tix that my grandfather put me on MANY years ago.

ALSO, did your friend by chance get in on those freebie hats they were giving away? They had the yellow striped one that favre always wears. More than likely an 18 dollar retail hat but is going for 100-150 on ebay.

The winter hat? I don't know if she did, but I have one that I wear!
Holy shit! I wonder if anyone wants a slightly used one for $50? :)
only if drenched in god him selves sweat... i mean favres, obviously.
Go Giants!!!! Hells Yeah!!!!
Would you like to make a friendly wager on the outcome of this game? :D

QFT. And why I paid $200+ a ticket for seats at Fenway Park. Good luck selling them OP.

ill make the bet as long as I can take the packers by two scores :)
ill make the bet as long as I can take the packers by two scores :)
I have a bet on the game, I took the Packers -7.5 and the over (40.5). Payout is $64.45 ($10 bet).
I was just happy to see the Packers get beat twice by the Bears.
I know! What the hell was that all about? I lost $10 ($5 a game) to my brother over that crap. I just know that after we win the Super Bowl (you heard me!) I'll still be hearing about the Bears games.

If it was this time last year and I still lived in wisconsin, I'd be all over these and pick them up on my way to the game.

I enjoy people who don't truly understand Lambeau Field and Packers football... they make me laugh.

What we have here is a guy that gets it. I wish more did.

True.

While I can't claim to be a true Packers fan, I've always liked Favre. Furthermore, since I first became aware of Packers history, the fans and the place have been held in high regard. I don't know of any other team/club or stadium that has the waiting list ya'll do. Amazing.

The Steelers are my #1 team, but I'd like to think I've cheered them on any time they played anyone else.
