Has anyone been waking up late since the new day light savings time? Two days in a row now I have been waking up AN HOUR late... meaning I have been getting to work late :whistle2:( I have two alarms, one my radio alarm and the other one my cell phone alarm which has two loud alarms and the last one set to the Mega Man- Rockman theme music. It would seem that I am tuned to waking up that one then any other alarm :(

So lets here it, has anyone been waking up late (by atleast an hour) since Sunday?

Sunday and Monday I was fine. Didnt even notice the change.

This morning it took for ever for me to wake up. Im usually up by 5:30, 6 latest. I woke up a little after 8 today though:|

Damn useless time changes....

Thankfully it's spring break, even though I'm still trying my damnedest to adjust to the schedule. I was supposed to be up at 7, didn't get up til around 10:30.

What's annoying though is it only takes a day or two for me completely adjust to that extra hour when DST is over and sleep over that too.

Yes, I think it's been messing up my sleep schedule a bit. I've been turning off my alarm and waking up 2 hours later than scheduled...a bit unusual for me since I tend to wake up as soon as the alarm sounds.

I have tried sleeping at least an hour earlier than normal (11:30, instead of 12:30). No caffeine, no halo 3 or other video games before bed time either. Guess it's going to take a week or so to get adjusted. Thank god next week is spring break... I can sleep in a bit more :|

I wake up that early too by habit. Even if a late night throws me off, a nap during the day puts me back on track. Its kinda sad actually. At least I have time for a good breakfast.
Since we don't have DST here, no.
Arizona?!! I am guessing that was sarcasm, or you are abroad somewhere.

Why the fuck would we want more sunlight here?
Arizona did observe DST in 1967 under the Uniform Time Act because the state legislature did not enact an exemption statute that year. In March 1968, the DST exemption statute was enacted and the state of Arizona has not observed DST since 1967 (however, the large Navajo Indian Reservation, which extends from Arizona into two adjacent states, does). This is in large part due to energy conservation since the temperature in and around Phoenix and Tucson is hotter than any other large U.S. metropolitan area during the summer, resulting in more power usage from air conditioning units and evaporative coolers in homes and businesses. An extra hour of sunlight while people are active would cause people to run their cooling systems longer, thereby using more energy.
I usually take a long shower, shave, brushing my teeth, maybe about half an hour of either singing and listening to my zune while sudsing or curling up in on the side of the shower stall and snoozing for a bit. but im out the door at 6 or 6:30 without chance to get a good breakfast.

But yeah its a sad habit of mine as well to wake up every morning at the same time, even on the weekends:drool:

Nope. Didn't do shit. My alarm rings like four times every five minutes. I think I actually heard it twice. Were it not attached to my phone, it'd be in crumbs behind the bed.

Agreed, Like I said I have my phone and alarm clock to my left and right of my head... it would seem that I will ignore the alarm clock (or slam my fist on the snooze button too fast to wake me up) or press the ok on my cell phone with the phone alarms...with the exception of MM music or the "INCOMING TRANSMISSION" ringtone.......meaning someone is calling me :bomb:
The key to using Alarm Clocks is NEVER hit the snooze button. Also jump out of bed ASAP. That will make sure it wakes you up.
You're one of those morning people, aren't you?
