Amazon - Wii - Soul Calibur Legends - $25.99 ships free

I'll wait till it hits the 19.99 price. Thats' how much it was selling in Canada around XMas and that's the price I'm willing to buy it at.
I'm assuming this is the game where you can dominate by simply just flailing your arms around.
its as if you own the game and already know how the gameplay is
I haven't heard anything good about this game. At that price, I'm still not tempted to take the plunge.
Agreed...maybe at $15...and thats a big maybe....

Might bite myself at $15, otherwise $10. So disappointed in the reviews when this came out as I was going to grab it on release day :(

I think you would have been more disappointed if you had bought it anyway, and wasted alot more on it... Ive heard nothing good about it either... will bide my time until 4 comes out

considering the reviews and comments from people who played this game, $15 max. i'll pass

$10 for me, and even if it is flailing, I'll bite. It might be as good as all those other "video" games where you dominate by simply just pressing a whole bunch of buttons in sequence.

From what I've played of it flailing may work but the sword/weapon control actually work in this game, unlike Twilight Princess, you swing (or flick in my case) left it goes left, right ... right, forward ... and it stabs. That being said, it's the only thing good about the game and I wouldn't buy it for a dollar. Yes, it's as bad as they say ... if not worse.

well the gameplay was alrite, it was just that there were like a small selection of soul calibur "legends" you get to choose from and there were no creativity as far as the enemies goes, and they become very repetitive in a dynasty warrior sort of sense where they all look exactly the same. the hacking and slashing part was the only thing that made the game fun, but everything else was complete crap.

All of a sudden I'm actually kind of interested in this game. Dynasty Warriors games are a guilty pleasure of mine. When you say "everything else was complete crap", what else is there to this game besides the hacking and slashing parts?

I'm figuring the same. Maybe wait until a $5 off Best Buy coupon floats around again when it his 19.

don't be ... run ... it's NOTHING like Dynasty Warriors. It makes Castlevania for N64 seem like the greatest game ever. To sum it up ... walk ... break barrels ... get locked in "room" ... fight ... break more barrels ... feel claustrophobia setting in ... locked in room .. fight ... boss ... locked ... barrels ...

it's a descent game. if you played onimusha, then you'll probably like this game. instead of being in a single playing world [like in resident evil you can explore and just like in onimusha you are in a castle and you can explore] you play stages instead or pick a location in the map [but it's like selecting stages to play]. so in short it's more like drakengard or something like that. it's a linear game, going from the beginning and finishing the end. so if you like hack and slash games then it's a descent game. i own it and like it. making combos is easy. the game is more like a $20 value game. but at $26 you'll never know if you'll see them again as they might just kill them or who knows.

I remember I was going to get this as part of the Toys R Us B2G1F Wii games sale last year then i heard it was crap. I still want to play it but I'll wait until it's $9.99, probably when it's a frontlane game at best Buy.
