I love Costco

yeah, right now there's actually a $3 coupon active on their food court $9.99 pizzas. As a note it does not count on the take and bake pizzas.

You don't say. ;)

whenever we have company pizza parties, costco is the place where we usually get our pizzas (mostly because they are huge and cheap as hell). I love em. As a child, I remember Costco used to have these pretzels with cheese in the middle and they we soooo good. I had to have one every time we went. I wish they still carried them.

I'm from Jersey and Italian (and YES that is enough qualification to be a food critic, or at least we think) and I gotta say that Costco's pizza is pretty good...but I always get the chicken bakes or sausage sandwiches.
This is now the "my pizza dive is better than your pizza dive" thread.

And I've never been in Costco.
For one, you gotta go to Costco.

But I noticed you live in Orlando...you've gotta go to Cucina Italia down there. It's weird in that it's almost exactly the kind of place you would find up in NYC/Jersey/Philly. It's a very traditional, but very good, Italian place.

The best ever is in west palm.........hold on, i need to research this.........no wait...........I think its actually this place, does it have absurd prices but food that makes it worth it? If so...I think thats the one

pizza imo is way better than the other chains. maybe tied with papa john's because i like the insta-fat sauce, i mean, the garlic sauce

and i would say that "local place" pizza is better but freakin LA has no particularly awesome local pizza.

costco pizza's flaw is the sauce they use. it's just not that great.

omfg pizza at costco its soo good and that sundae thing they have is umm good and the churros and the smoothies damn the churros are are by far the best at costco

Careful, you're starting to sound like a shill. In any case, the pizza may not be bad, nor the best, but it's a cheap meal; a rare thing now-a-days. However, the churros taste like cardboard, they just cover the taste with a ton of sugar.

haha yeay, Costco has like the best food in a place where u would never expect the best food to be at.

chicken bake!!!

I went to Costco to buy a pizza yesterday and I didn't have the coupon with me, but the cashier applied the $3 discount anyways. Awesome! :D
My local Sam's Club has the same pizza.

Delicious stuff.
I've never been to Costco, but Sam's Club is a great place to go for brunch on Sundays after a night of drinking because of the Free samples
i'm a fan of the frozen yogurt - i stop in there just for that. Helps that its right next to a TRU and Best Buy.
i thought it WAS for take and bake pizzas? That is a steal btw, get the margherita, throw some sliced onions/peppers/corn on top, maybe roast some garlic in the oven while you bake it to spread over...

I probably described 100's of Costco's - I'm on the other side of the US from you ;)

Costco is the best. When my wife Birthday rolls around, I always take the kids to go shopping for mom at Costco. I can pick up her cake, a book, some jewelry, a blu-ray movie (for me), dinner, and wine all in one place. Plus, I can fill up the car with gas.

What's not to like about Costco?

 magical one stop shop
OMG...Their little food court is awesome. Quality ingredients, chhhhhheap prices, and good variety. The best hot dogs and drink for $1.50. Delicious HUGE pizza for $1.99. Great sundaes for around a buck. You can't go wrong. Has anyone here NOT tried their food?

http://d1.biggestmenu.com/00/00/62/d68c121bef2e96e9_m.jpg
Basically the hot dog and "free" soda for 1.50 makes up my meals for the work week. 1.50 X 5 + tax = around 8 bucks a week for lunch ;). It also means that I'm inching closer and closer to a heart attack each day but hey, I can't complain about the price :D. There is NO better value out there for lunch, period.

No, Italian trattorias like this are known for their inexpensiveness, homey atmosphere, and traditional peasant food.

Sorry to derail the already somewhat derailed thread, but what's a costco like? Is it more like sams or walmart, or maybe something in between?
