were we also supposed to get a code for the classic prince? cuz my eb didnt give me one

So is this just for EB, or would I also get the free upgrade to the Limited Edition if I say, pre-order through Amazon?

I pre-ordered this back in the summer, and my EB Games receipt shows just the regular version, do I go back in with it and have them switch it? How is the extra $10 difference made up?

There is no $10 difference to make up. It's a FREE Pre-Order upgrade. Somewhere plastered on the "limited edition" boxart, it'll state "Prince of Persia Pre-Order Edition"

You'll get it when you walk into EB to pick up your pre-order.

The guy told me that they haven't heard anything official about it yet, though they did get the Far Cry 2 "Pre-Order Editions" in when Ubisoft first tried this out. Apparently, they got plenty of those, and I think he said they still had some, so odds are, these won't be extremely limited, but it's very likely that you'll be getting one.

I think the LE of POP is the only SKU EB Games will have (at least it is on the American site)

Does the receipt say "LE" or limited edition anywhere in the SKU?

I changed one of my reservations to Prince of Persia PS3 a few weeks ago and the receipt reads ' 6143986 PRINCE PERSIA PS3 ' which I assume is just the regular version.

I just preordered and the guy had never heard of the free LE promotion. What's notable was that he said there was only one entry in the computer for a PoP preorder, which suggests that you can ONLY preorder the LE. Given what the promotion states this is probably the case.

I'm just getting tired of knowing more about the products EB sells than the people behind the counter.

I'm curious as to whether Canada gets the code for the classic prince skin. You get it by pre-ordering at Gamestop in the US.

i asked my store, they are giving the free upgrade to the limited edition but they didn't know anything about the classic prince skin
