yep, you need to sign for it too.

you get it pretty quick too. i got my movies in 2 days from canada to nj

sin city looks great but has no extras. from dusk til dawn doesn't look that great and no extras
 
Amazon.ca converts it to usa dollars for you. 14.95 comes out to be 12.10 usa dollars. If you use the code it really helps a lot since shipping is like 15 bucks for 4 movies. Still no release date for Sin City in the USA that I know of. Yes there are really no extras on these disc but I rarely watch them unless it is a history related movie. My order came out to like 13 dollars for each movie so it was a great deal to me. Mine already shipped and I just bought them at 4am this morning
 
well just read a review... seems like we are pretty much guaranteed a better encode and extras when the domestic version surfaces...
 
I am sure of that but I doubt it will be at this price for a while.

strange.. noticed amazon has domestic version for dec .2 release.. gotta be a mistake as i though it was coming next year..

also what are the details on that coupon? it game me the following msg

The triple movie packs are also on sale (Hard Action, Muscle etc). With the code, and shipping to US, mine came out to be $12.91/movie for 5 movies (Dusk, Sin and 1 Triple pack), with shipping. Not bad. Enjoy!

expedited shipping also seems to be less than a dollar difference.

im contemplating on the kill bills as im not really a big fan.. or frankly i dont really remember anything about them except its a gore fest

thanks man! i just picked up kill bill 1 & 2 and threw in Bullitt in there to put it over 40 bucks. i was about to order bullitt from amazon.com now anyway, and after the conversion its the same price. 12$ shipping hurts but at least no tax... overall w/ coupon & shipping it ran me 15$ USD for each kill bill and the 14$ USD for bullitt (normal price). overall saving me 10 bucks. i think ill wait for the better transfer for sin city since im such a fan... (as well as videophile)
 
Got mine in the mail today. Pretty quick shipping considering it came from Canada to Texas
 
after i entered the promo code, it took off 8.22 and i'm not sure but it may have to do with Visa. so i ended up paying 38 bucks for kill bill 1 & 2 and Sin City

Ordered SC & FDTD last Thurs. Got my order on Mon. The case w/ FDTD had a cpl of pieces broken on the inside and left a scratch on the disc. I put in for a replacement and got an email this morning saying they could no longer get any more of that movie from the distributor, so they gave me a refund and told me to keep the movie.
 
Are this Blue Ray Movies going to play in region 1?

What region are them?

Mine came in a few days ago in great shape. I did a quick view of sin city and it looked pretty good.

Did they say they were out permanently?

I know the site mentions 2-4 week availability on FDTD

dude, first of all, blurays are region free

secondly, region 1 is US/CANADA

so... yeah.


btw: i received my kill bills a few days ago. amazing PQ. although now that amazon.com dropped the bundle to 31$ i wish i had gotten it there instead.

will wait for official Sin City BR release in the states as i want a better transfer.

Email I got just said the movie was unavailable from the distributor. Heres the email....

As mentioned above, not all BR's are region free. HD-dvds on the other hand are.
