Anyone do this before? Return a game from Amazon to Best Buy?

I'm getting antsy because Amazon isn't shipping Street Fighter 4 til the end of the month. If I buy a copy at Best Buy now, will I have a problem returning the Amazon copy to BB for a refund later on?

Thanks.

I've done it before without any trouble. You should be fine as long as it's from Amazon.ca and not .com, as U.S. versions would have a different SKU.
I don't see a problem with doing it really.

Can't you just cancel the Amazon order though and go buy it at BB?
I believe its cheaper at Amazon with the code and free ship.

Yeah, I'm saving $10 with the coupon code via Amazon. Otherwise I would grab it in-store if I could and cancel the order. There's a Best Buy close to me so it's not a huge inconvenience and worth it to get the game 1-2 weeks early. Delivery estimate is Feb 26-March 3 if you can believe it, jeez. And I put in my order on the first day they listed the product.

I'd be very, very careful. If there's any difference in SKU, you'll be out of luck. For instance, you might have Amazon ship you an American copy of the game while Best Buy might give you a Canadian copy. If that's the case, it's entirely up to fate whether or not Best Buy would notice and turn you away. I'm not sure if Street Fighter has different SKUs for different countries, but a lot of games do.

From my experience, Amazon.ca HAS to ship the Canadian version due to French packaging laws. The US copies are only printed in English, and products sold in Canada have to have French on them (with possibly the exception of Tuck Stores selling imported goods ie. English chocolates)

I bought Resistance 2 from Amazon but then Future Shop had $20 off coupon. The copy from Amazon was only in english while Future shop's had both english and french on the case. I returned the french/english copy to amazon without any problems. Even thought the boxes were different, they had the same bar code (atleast the numbers under the bar code were the same.)
