Mercenaries 2: World in Flames -- $19.99 at Newegg & Amazon

You can try your luck at your local Target. People have been reporting that they find them for under $20.

you dont need to have played the first one...and this game is worth 20 in my opinion...i paid 10 with the best buy in store reward zone sale the other week, and it is definetely worth that.

this game could have been alot more fun, its still a very good time, but the AI is horrible, and it feels like the vehicles are driving underwater...also i bumped a wooden crate with a TANK and it damaged my TANK!!

the most frustrating thing though is if they just did a few things differently it would have been an amazing game...

worth 20...yes, more than 20...not so much.

Perfect price for this game: it's like Mercenaries 1.5. I played it, enjoyed it, but the lack of changes from the 1st game in the series makes it barely a sequel.

paid $10 for it at best buy...not even sure it was worth that..glitchy play, repetitive missions, frustrating controls...if your really looking to buy it try ebay could probably get it for 15 bucks

Well, I paid 10 bucks for it, and I think it's well worth it. The destruction is pretty darn awesome, and the world is fairly big. Achievements aren't that bad either.

Yeah, I would say to definitely PASS this for $20. I paid $10 for it and glad I didn't spend more. I played it like a rental and sold it. The graphics and cut-scenes are crap and good-gawd I thought people were exaggerating the glitches. I couldn't even complete challenges because I would start out underneath the map in an infinite fall and then sometimes the load screens would hang in an infinite load. I can't believe this game got past MS game certification AND still hasn't been effectively patched.

Just to add to that last comment...I have not encountered any glitches and I'm 60% through the game. Maybe that will change, maybe not, but it seems YMMV to me as far as problems go.

No glitches here either, just cheesy crap music!

Sigh,

You guys are lucky if you haven't came across any glitches. I got hit by a lot of them throughout the game.

By far the most annoying one was when I captured a storyline-related HVT and threw him in my jeep. I drove back to my hideout for something, and when I got out of the jeep I noticed that the HVT wasn't there anymore. I followed the arrow UP and saw that he was floating above a tree, stuck there. So I went back in the hideout, came back out again, and he dropped to the ground and died. I had to do the whole damn mission over again. -_-

The glitches can be really frustrating at times, but holy crap is this game WELL worth the $20. Blowing shit up has never been so fun!

This has been steadily dropping in price, and as some have noted, it has been available occasionally for $10.

I struck out getting it for $14 at Target, but $20 is still a bit high. I'm hoping that it will eventually get to $14.99, at least at Newegg.

... also, this does not look like a sale. Based on the way Amazon has it listed, it may be a permanent price drop.

I am 40% into the game and I too encounter many glitches. On one one of mission for protecting VIP, I got push back by rocket's splash damage and got stuck in between the building and have to restart the mission. The other time, I accidently fall into the water and when I climb up, my character disappear but you can still see my AK47 float in the air as I walk. I will say the game is worth about $10, and nothing more.

Still can't beat the $10 point from Bestbuy even though it's long gone.

I haven't encountered any of the serious glitches you guys are mentioning. Though I'm pretty aware that there are glitches with the HVTs. Something about not being able to get the achievement or whatever. Other than that, all good over here.
