Games purchased in Asia?

I'm in Seoul, South Korea on business. I noticed some Wii games in the store at a real good price -- great exchange rate right now.

My questions:

Are they region locked? (i.e. only play on Asia purchased Wii uinits)

Is the video compatible with ATSC/NTSC on USA Wii's?

Will they have choice of language (i.e. English, Korean, Chinese, Japanese)?

Thanks,

Joe

Yeah, region locked. Only way you would be able to play them on a U.S console is via homebrew or modchip.

Pretty sure Asia games are NTSC-J since you can play them on Japanese consoles.

I think it depends on the game. Asia versions won't always have English.

Thanks. I'd guessed they were region locked, but wasn't sure. I'd better find something else to waste money on :)

Dont have to have homebrew necessarily. Since youre in Korea, you can probably even find a region free disc loader. sauder free and dont need to use homebrew either.
