I was in the Socom beta and didn't like it that much. And it does not let me use mouse and keyboard and jump around like a crack addict while doing wall jumps, shoot dodge and yelling MONSTER KILL.
 
After having so many games for the PS2 and rarely revisiting them, I decided it's best to just trade what I don't play so I only keep a small collection now.

after playing UNREAL SPEED, I can't go back to the tactical shooters where they move so god damn slow. I would have killed you if you were moving at UT speed! But seriously. All the capture the flag I played, I should have had a platinum in UT3 by now. LOL

Xbox 360 is my main machine. I sadly usually only use the ps3 for movies. Have been catching up on "classic" ps2 titles lately. I can definitely say that the ps3 is gaining ground on the 360 quickly, as far as games go.

Since I've only owned it a couple months, I only have a dinky lil' handful of PS3 games... Eternal Sonata, Little Big Planet, Valkyria Chronicles, Guitar Hero 3 and GH Aerosmith, plus Noby Noby Boy and LocoRoco Cocoreccho on PSN. Haven't seen much need to get more yet- my favorite genres are covered (JRPG, platformer, puzzle/music). Not to mention I've been obsessive over LBP lately. :D

Lets count them.....wait, I have none. Had my PS3 for over a year and I just can't seem to find a game that is amazing that I must have. Have all 3 systems, Wii, PS3, 360. I have over 100 360 games and have about 3 Wii games and yet no PS3 games. Yet, I still keep all 3 systems just so that I can say "I have all the new systems."

I got a couple of 360 and Wii games, but both are neither more than my ps3 collection (disc-wise), and yet all pales when compared to my ps2 collection. But, ever since I got my ps3 4 months ago, I've been buying nothing but ps3 games.
 
I'm pretty big on PC, so most of my purchases go there, but I chose Dead Space on PS3 because I hear that the PC control scheme is wonky.

My console is just two weeks old, but I've currently got:

  • Killzone 2
  • Fifa 09
  • Street Fighter IV
  • Spyro - (no idea what it's called. I bought it for the kids)
I figure that I would probably try and stick to one game per genre this time around. I had so many PS2 games that I just didn't play it was silly.

I want bioshock, LBP, and Uncharted.

The only retail games I paid full price for wereGTA 4 which I got the day I bought my MGS4 80 gig bundle and I splurged on Killzone 2 since I had a 40 dollar gift card.
My least favorite games are PAIN and RB6V2 but they were both only 10 bucks. Favorites are MGS4, GTA 4, and Resistance 2.

Things change a lot though. I'd say that if I wrote this again in several weeks over half of it would have changed. I really don't like to keep stuff unless I play it somewhat regularly.
