Have you met my friend "The DD 25% Off Sale" yet? He just got into town today.
Now that it officially launched, someone should make a new thread, but I guess that's taboo since there's already an old lingering thread from June hiding somewhere on CAG...
I've never even seen this film but I feel like picking it up on BD simply because it seems like such a good deal...decisions, decisions...
You've never seen Blade Runner?
Look here, son, forget this talk about "decisions, decisions."
God mother ing dammit. ing shit balls fart anus. I paid $50 for a lightly-used Ultimate Collector's Edition not terribly long ago.
wow.. $15?! when was this? before last year's Black Friday? that was probably when i started my pitiful BR collection.
It was around spring last year, I think. Tower also had it for $12 but they charge shipping so it came out to about the same price. I would have bought it then but I didn't think I'd have a PS3 for another few years.

tower doesnt charge shipping for purchases over 25$, like amazon (minus prime).
For the DVD set, be sure to check discs 1 and 5 immediately; apparently, some people are still receiving two final cuts or two work cuts instead of one of each.
Just had to pop in to say this is an AWESOME deal and anyone questioning it should jump on this ASAP. I bought it around Christmas time last year for $24.99 and I thought that was a good price at the time. My father says it looks amazing (it did look good, but this was the first time I myself had seen the film).
The 5 disc bluray set goes for cheap everyonce in a while.
With that said spinnercars + HD = GET IT.
Big fan of bladerunner by the way. I've had it on vhs, dvd, and now bluray. Also still have the videogame, soundtrack, poster, and book that it was based on.
If you get it just be sure to check disc 1 and 5. I got mine around christmas and disc 1 was a copy of the workprint. Warner replaced it with a proper disc without any trouble though.

What's the best way/advice??? Pop each movie in and you'll know at the title screen or press play and see what version it is??? I've had this movie forever and never actually checked to see if my copy was legit or not. thanks

It should be pretty obvious if you just try and play them both. The workprint is of a lower videoquality. Also, the workprint has special features concerning the workprint.
So if you put in disc 1 and the special features talk about the workprint you have a problem.
I think I tried emailing warner multiple times about the problem and that didn't work. Once I got on the phone with someone I had a replacement within a week and no hassle about it.
