Seriously -- Anyone bought/used one of these? I need input, people.
Not exactly what you asked for, but I suggest buying a Gameboy Advance and a flash cart. I did that and emulated NES games. It was great.

These are so useless. Save your money, buy a psp, gba, ds, any other emulation capable device. You can have the whole nes library in the palm of your hands.

All orders fulfilled by another vendor (gamezforless). Look at their feedback before you take the plunge (even if it's just $25.00)

I bought one of these off thinkgeek when they first came out for $50 and returned it the same day. doesn't work for the life of it. if you really want one of these, pay the money and buy a modded one. these mass produced ones are absolute trash.

why bother with that when you can just play nes games on your ds? wow that guy is blatantly biting off of the avgn even to the point of almost dressing like him too. that tv out thing is cool though itd be nice if you could do that with a ds.

Does anyone know if the carts ever stick in these? I once took a front-loading NES to a console repair shop and had a new set of pins installed rather than buying a Retro Mini/Retro Duo/whatever they called it a few years ago. When I got it back, the repairman told me that it should work perfectly forever but I would have to be careful because the carts stick in the pins and need a firm yanking to remove.

Wish he would have told me this before I forked over my $20, because "firm yanking" ended up being an understatement :bomb: I have to be careful because I have a lot of rare carts and don't want to damage anything just trying to get them out.

I saw this in the Buy.com email and set out to find some reviews. This is the best I could find: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hhiyJYj9J0A

Though the video reviews the "FC Mobile", they have the same design and I would figure are merely the same product with different badges.

I have a running NES and a large collection of NES games, so I'm looking for a competent portable system, but I don't think this one is it.

Note: Now that I see the embed picture of the video, just know that the video is a comparison review and that the FC Mobile is the first product reviewed in the video.

I love how so many people keep chiming in about just illegally downloading the games online.

We should start doing that for every thread.

"Dude! Don't buy Madden 10 for $50 - just download it online and mod your 360!"

the biggest problem with this portable is its aesthetics. The buttons are diagonal...so games like mario that need the b button and then needing to press A....sucks. great idea but poor execution.

I'd be up for a fully functioning NES, or portable NES...but the screen on this is only 2.4", so I'm not going to bother looking at whether it actually works.
