Didn't see a thread for tonight's premiere "Sympathy for the Devil" which was pretty awesome. Did anyone else watch? Looking to be a pretty intriguing season (again!).

Also, anyone know the name of the AC/DC song at the beginning of the episode?

Had it on tonight, but wasn't really able to focus on it for the duration of the episode. Though I caught what Dean "is" and a few other parts. Looks promising going forward.

As for the AC/DC song, I'm pretty sure it's Thunder Struck, or something very similar in name.

The episode was a little short, but I just took it as "setting everything up" for the season. Is it just me, or does it feel like this SHOULD be the final season? I mean, where do you go after defeating Lucifer? But knowing that this is one of CW's most popular shows, it would be stupid to kill it off after five seasons (especially considering how long freaking Smallville has gone on). I just hope they're not writing themselves into a corner.

Also, does anybody else think Supernatural would make for a bad ass videogame? I'd almost want it to be like GTA style, where you could just drive around and help different people who were being haunted/terrorized/possessed/etc. Granted, I originally thought of this idea back when the show was more about them traveling around the country, but I still think it would be a cool idea. Plus, you'd get to drive around in that awesome car, and have a kick ass soundtrack! I'd be all over a game like that.

Eric Kriperke said that it is his intentions to have this be the last season. If they are picked up for another year, he has plans for a brand new storyline

Yeah, in an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Kripke said that the initial end game for Supernatural was 5 seasons. He hasn't ruled out more after this season, but it would be a totally new story. I wonder if that would mean new cast, or just Sam and Dean going after different mythos.

Here is the article http://ausiellofiles.ew.com/2009/08/30/will-supernatural-end-in-2010/

And to n8rockerasu, yeah I think a GTA-esque game would be pretty bad ass. And they could play off of the seasons, or the entire series for the game. I think it would make an amazing game, but not sure how well it would sell, outside of fans.

I wasn't feeling the episode much, every surprise fell flat and as said it really was nothing more then a setup episode for the season. But it in no way shape or form topped the previous season's premiere episode. I'm hoping this really is the finale season, there is no topping this storyline at all.

I liked the first episode. I did feel like they had a lot of ground to cover and not much time to do it in, but I felt as if it did what it needed to prep the season's return.
