Unless of course both the game and the movie suck balls. Which is a high probablility at this point.
hmmm there is a 100% chance this game and move are full of fail lol

I guess anyone who's thinking about buying this game is probably a fan of the series and it's therefore a good deal.

Likewise I'd be surprised to find many people who hate the series (I hate them, personally) who would be very interested in the game.

LOL, the publisher and developer really think they're gonna sell this Saw game for $60 in this crowded holiday season. Good luck and here's to this years version of Lost the video game...

cant wait for game...

i noticed that saw 4 ticket earlier.... funny

edit- wow guess you guys didnt notice the joke.. free ticket to saw IV not VI

Game looked TERRIBLE at ComicCon... It's going to bomb, hard. People with no taste in games will grab it for the name attached.

I'm a big Saw series fan but this deal doesn't entice me in the slightest considering right before the movies come out there is usually some kind DVD re-release that comes with the same movie ticket. I'd rather spend $15-20 on a DVD (if I don't already own it) that comes with a movie ticket than $60 for the same thing. Besides, a movie ticket is $9.00. I'd rather just spend that when the movie comes out.

While I am looking forward to the game, I concur that the game will drop in price drastically upon release. I agree that this is this year's Lost, a game that I enjoyed for the sheer joy of playing a game based off the show, but nothing I would buy for more than $20.00.

Yeah, I agree with metallicoholic. I'm a big fan of the series, but asking me to pay $60 for the game is just too much. Plus, I think this generation of games has REALLY created a formula for price drops. It's way too obvious which games will get huge price cuts within a month or two of release. And with single player games with no online component, unless you just NEED to play it day one, why wouldn't you wait for a price drop?

I actually think the premise of the game is solid, and the trailer on gamestop's website looks good, but of course it would be easy to screw up the gameplay. I could see this being something like the last Alone in the Dark. The game looked decent, but the controls were awful. The LOST comparison is also pretty good. I enjoyed that game, and it provided a worthwhile experience, but it wasn't worth $60. Doesn't mean it's a bad game. Just means the publisher needs to get real.

I plan on picking this up, and I think I have good taste in games. As somebody who has been playing games for the past 25 years, I would like to think that the 300+ games I have in my current collection are good ones. You really shouldn't make a broad statement like that, just because you have no interest in picking it up. It's all about different strokes(whatcha talkin' about Willis?) for different folks. I can't stand any of the Halo games, nor do I like any racing games. Does that make my taste in games terrible? I don't think so.

I'm sorry, but I don't think it is statistically possible for you to regularly decide before release what games you are going to pick up and have "300+ games" all be "good" ones. There are too many games that look good that end up being crap. If you guessed right on 300 (not saying you called all of those before release, but you must have done many if you stick your neck out on 2nd/3rd tier movie tie-ins), you need to play the lottery.

Here's a picture I took at E3 this year:

Maybe he's in the industry; I don't know. But he's sure not 18... and sure shouldn't be playing Saw. Also, his mom doesn't seem to care.

I can say only one thing about how Saw the game looks and thaaa......zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Huh, must have dozed off thinking about the game. Anyway, should be boring and I cannot understand why they decided to release a game of Saw after 5 movies? Why not maximum after 2 when the series was still semi-interesting?

Bahahahahsha, how does that happen? First of all, why is a 9yo at E3? Second, why is said 9yo playing a game probably pushing the AO rating?
Based off of principal, this shouldn't have been posted.

Saw 1 was good. 2.....3 decent the rest awful. The game? Eeks
3 felt a lot more solid than 2, 2 felt like a bad slasher. 4 onward I didn't bother with.

Dudes don't worry a few torn off limbs and exploding heads isn't a big deal. Just make sure the little tike doesn't see a boobie or could have real problems.
