I have seen numerous people suggest that Blizzard now lets you register your game keys with them so you can download games you bought like you can on steam. Iv looked on the store and on my bnet account but do not see this option. Where exactly is it located?
Go here and click on create or manage a Battle.net account: https://us.battle.net/

After that you should be able to register your keys.
Thanks I had went to my account registration page and not found it, so nice that that took me right to it!

I have trouble with this, I got the old Starcraft CD key and it's formated like 0000-00000-0000 but they require me to input the 25 digital CD key to register the game... time to google a solution.

you get the cd key when you log in to http://battle.net and you click on your game

Just input your code and you'll be fine. After you input it, you get a new code with that format. My WC3, Diablo 2, and SC keys were all the old format, but worked fine when I put them in.

Right, you input the old key when you register the game to get a new key. You then input the new key when installing the downloaded version of the game (which is updated to the latest patch :)).

If you're going to download these games on more than one machine. I suggest you save the install .exe to a usb stick or portable HDD instead of downloading it to each machine from Blizzard. It took me forever to get WCIII and Diablo 2 downloaded to my pc. I have a 6 mps connection too. So I just moved the install .exe to my different pc's and used my new key. Worked great!

Well glad my topic helped someone other then me as well ;)

It was really nice too because I have 2 copies of D2 and LoD from when my first copy got scratched up. So I was able to register 1 to my acount then take the other I had paid for and register a second account for my little brother to play.

Blizzards service has saved me. I have had to buy 3 copies of Starcraft because I kept misplacing the disk, but now I don't have to worry about it.

Ok cool I think I did miss the part about checking for the 25 digit key from the website I just dled the Starcraft exe file onto my netbook and thought I can install it with the original key. Thanks for the inputs.
